Quite addicting!
This game is a LOT deeper than I first thought. There's plenty of things to do: crafting, questing, mining, fighting in the dungeons, fishing, farming (with the help of your pet), cooking, foraging, taking care of animals, breeding frogs and critters and pixies, picking seashells and mushrooms, donating, decorating, collecting, rescuing flightless pigeons, earning stat cards, growing giant lotus flowers, stealing plants and rugs from your neighbours' houses... and there's interesting characters that you'll get to know as you play. And some quite funny stories as well :) Nothing is permanently missable as far as I can tell so you can take your time and play as you like! There's a setting to turn off the fishing minigame for those who don't like minigames :) The festivals/events are fun and have nice rewards, like rare tree saplings, machines, tickets, decorations for your house, etc. And sometimes you get to choose! Trees don't regrow when cut down but once in a while a sapling will sprout and you can pull it out and replant it where you want or let it grow. Also, tree seeds can be found randomly when cutting grass, and the grass regrows a little every day. It takes only two seasons for a barren farm to regrow enough grass to look very lush again. There's also ways to passively gather materials every night, with the help of pixies that you can place on trees, rocks, mushrooms and such, to harvest them for you (while keeping the resource intact permanently). Might want to keep a few of the rare trees in town and not cut them all down in early game, though you can win/buy more later on if you already have :) The developer is very active on Discord, listening to feedback, taking suggestions and tweaking/adding things which is nice to see :)
