At the heart of Eternal Strands beats a revolutionary new system for gameplay interactions: heat spreads, cold chills, and real-time destruction allows for unprecedented reactivity in combat. Hurl burning tree trunks at enemies with telekinetic powers, snap nearby trees to block opposing fire, or channel raw telekinetic force to rip boulders from the ground.
Wear the Mantle, a magical cloak that channels raw magic into raging flame, chilling ice, and telekinetic force. Combine your growing array of powers with enchanted weapons and armor crafted from slain enemies to create a custom look and style. Block incoming attacks with a wall of magical ice, lash out waves of flame from a massive two-handed blade, or toss enemies off a cliff with raw force.
Face gigantic adversaries and defeat them through a mix of sword, spell, and mobility. Leap onto and climb their massive forms to attack from different angles. Shatter armor or slice at weak spots to diminish their protection. Every bit as good as Clair OBscur!
This game deserves way more love than it's received, the best game that no one is playing. Pros 1 Great game play, Real time action 2 Great Graphics, great lighting and environments 3 A world where your choices matter! 4 Great Price point at $39.99 new, If you buy this and Clair Obscur together you only spend $79.99 that's less than the $100.00 for Doom The Dark Ages and ten dollars more than AC Shadows. 5 Developed by committed Veterans who worked for EA Bioware, just like their counterparts at SandFall Interactive who left Ubisoft to make Clair Obscure. 6 Quality on the level well Above the current Triple A slop 7 Available on Steam, Epic and GOG, offering more choices than Clair Obscure Cons 1 Doesn't have the personality of Clair Obscur Expidition 33, but still decent though. not bad but too long.
The game is good. Graphics are nice, the gameplay is not bad and running smoothly, playing with fire, nice and gravity to fight. Juste some colision and climbing on geants can be complicated. I really like discovering the areas, very nice level design. No level système so no farming, which is good. Just upgrading weapons and armor with the crafting system which is very nice, no pressure for using rare materials we collected. But the game is too long for its own good (I finish it not 100% in 22h). We have to run on the same maps many time, not so many differents quests (most of them is exploring an area to find an item and bring it the the base), doing the same giants fight. I think few hours less of side quests would have been better, but in fact you can "rush" the main story and complete the rest after the end, so you can play as you enjoy focusing on the main story line and continue after. Or maybe more elements to play with (electricity), more spell. More unique elements to explore (puzzles to solve) Personnaly I love the gravity magic, could have been only this with plenty differnt way to use it and uses the fire and ice around to add some effect to the spell. It's propably deserve a 3.5 on 5 but I cannot put it. I bought it on solde and was totaly happy with it.
