Really enjoying Part 3

I am late to the series. I finished parts 1 & 2 last month after playing Divine Divinity and wanted something similar, and I was not dissapointed. I can't believe one reviewer has already finished the game the day after release, hm, maybe rushed thru it too quickly. I have been playing for 2 days now, taking my time and investigating every little nook & cranny and finding secrets and more and have barely even started the main quest. I am in no rush to complete the game as i want to experience everything it has to offer. I am enjoying the challenge greatly, it's a good feeling when you finally defeat a mighty foe that wasn't easy. Lot's of thinking, strategy and exploration, what more could you ask for!? A low cost game that gives you lot's of fun.

More of the Same - Still Good Stuff

If you enjoyed the first two games then you will enjoy this, its conclusion. The ending may leave something to be desired but the game's mechanics haven't changed and if you like an old-school rpg experience, this one is another safe bet. Playing as a fighter is a bit easier than a wizard as you are not as squishy. Put some points into bow for good measure as you will need it to ignite some barrels from a safe distance. Try not to get the guards angry as they are very powerful and will always seek you out when you are in town. That means if you want to rob a spot, don't get caught!

A fine finale

I enjoyed this game as I've enjoyed Books I and II. Honestly, I don't understand all the criticism presented here. I was totally addicted to Book III, puzzles were challenging enough, and I had a good time!

Not as good as the first two parts.

While the engine and the gameplay is generally same as in the first two Eschalon games, the third one felt rushed, lacking polishness, feeling empty and boring. I really liked the first 2, and felt really dissapointed by the third one.
