CutOut Bin
I am guessing the "CutOut Bin" is about as relevant as "Dial a Phone", but back in the day you could buy "Priced to Sell" CD games cheap, and only had to deal with a bandsaw blade nick in the spine. This is how I found Entomorph. I played, and still play the Ultimas obsessively. And I was a Pen & Paper DnD fan, but I never cared much for the SSI Dungeons and Dragons RPGs. After the first two, it seemed like they cranked them out hand over fist for a while, and the interface was way out of date, early on in the series. So I felt that with the new interface ( yes Zelda-ish ) I would be willing to pay CutOut price for an SSI RPG. I honestly knew almost nothing about it, and didn't scrounge thru my PC Gamer stacks to read up on it. I just tossed it in the drive, fired it up, and was swept away to Aden. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and was truly shocked that I played it day after day for 2 weeks or so. Ultimately disappointed that the game ended. I am fairly certain that I started it over almost right away, but it was too fresh and had little if any replay value. It sat prominently in my CD game rack for many years. I always wanted to try it again, but eventually I retired the CD rack, or whatnot and it has been missing ever since. I am happy to see it return to the land of the living. Good choice GOG, kudos!
