Massive time line and variety of fighting units and unique civilizations across five ages: Middle Ages (950 AD - 1300 AD), Gunpowder (1300 AD - 1600 AD), Imperial (1600 AD - 1900 AD), World War I (1914 AD - 1935 AD), World War II (1935 AD - 1945 AD).

great game well balanced
Please note that i have never played this game outside of gog. The game is very well balanced, with lots of fairly diverse civilizations and tons of unit types. the graphics are fairly enjoyable, but not good by modern standards. It is easy to play and learn and very enjoyable (although i do not believe that multiplayer still works, but i am not sure). The civilizations for the first three ages are the most diverse in their unit types and stats, and in the last 2 they are less so. I also want to point out that all the civilizations have the same unit types with differant stats and costs, but there is some exeptions to this. The only other problem i have with the game is that the voices of the units sometimes change. Overall i think the game is very well done and well worth the price.

Love this game
An oldie but a goodie. I have lots of fond memories playing this game back in the day. I use it now to muck around wth the scenario editor mainly, but highly recomend it for a good vintage RTS experience. 10/10.

Nostalgia
I played this game when I was growing up. I completely forgot about it until some years ago when I found it on GOG. Now that I am older, though not much wiser, I find it soothing to just casually play this game when I have some downtime. It's been a blast from the past and it has become the game I play when I just wanna relax. 5/5 stars!

A Classic
Remembered this game while my brother and I were playing Civ 5 as we do, was happy to find it here. If you want age of empires but a little bit goofy and with nukes, this is your game.
