Empire Earth Gold Edition

In order to play on windows 8, you need to set affinity. the game is not designed to run on multiple cpu cores/threads but windows is forcing multiple cores to be used. to solve this problem you need to create a batch file containing the following command; "start /affinity 1 EE-AOC.exe". And use the batch file ONLY to start the game.

This is Fucking terrible. I loved Empire Earth when I was a kid. the problems are, first, I try to play it on a laptop with windows 10, and it freezes to the point where I have to press the power button on the laptop, then click shutdown from there. I then ask gog about it and they say that it doesn't work on windows 10 and to try it on an older version of windows. Now for the last one, I do as they suggested by installing it on a laptop with windows XP, this time a completely different problem, when I start a mission, the screen is completely black. WHAT THE FUCK?!!!

This and Rise Of Nations - RTS done right.

I played this game from 2002 on as a little child. Today I still have to say that this game is legendary. It is so complex and still so balanced. The ages are amazing and it is just too much fun online. I can recommend playing this game or at least trying it out to everyone.

iv played this game before but since we got new computers i haven't been able to play it. i saw this and immediately bought it. i downloaded it to a xp and a eight and on both of them it let me do everything until i went to play as soon as the battlefield showed up my eight froze and my xp blacked out. i would give the game a five and worth the risk of buying but for me its a one because i just cant play. iv gotten other games from this site and there running perfectly. if you have ANY suggestions my email is wryguy2765+help@gmail.com
