No downside to owning this game
I don't get the hate for this version of the game. The resolution and textures are superior to the first, making the game world crystal clear. It's a huge improvement over the original. It can be especially noticed in the Lizardmen ruin interiors in the beginning, where I saw the difference for the first time. Incredible. I was excited for the controller support that the Enhanced version comes with. I wanted to replay this sooo many times over the years but wasn't able to find a decent mod or configuration for it and didnt want to be hunched over a keyboard anymore. It works great, btw. Probably the best part about the Enhanced version - I can load the saves from my original NWN 2 playthroughs! There are also Acheivements now, as well. I was pleasantly surprised when the chime rang for winning the Harvest Festival! Anyway, please don't throw away your chance to relive this game just because others have to be negative Nelly's. The amount of hate for this new release is far from deserved. Wait for a sale if it will make you feel better but at least be open to the idea that you may actually like the improvements.
