The only real DLC for Dungenons 2

This DLC gives you as many playing hours as the original campaign (not much), but it feels like a real additional content. There are 8 new missions, the first and the last one are more hack & slash type and the other six are hard core strategy. It is a little bit more difficult than the original camapign, and you need to balance it out with defense and constant rushing. The maps are larger and it takes more time to explore everything. If you dig somewhere where you shouldn´t to early in the game, your dungeon can be overrun with dragonligs or spiders and you can lose in seconds, so don´t forget to save often. The Undead race feels different at the beggining but at the end it is the same principle like the other two races. When you reach the 3rd level of the dungeon you unlock some really nice and powerful units, but you need more space than the other races (each 3rd level unit take 3x3 space just to sleep/heal). The story continues where the main game ended. It´s the same type of humor. but this time it´s a parody of Game of Thrones. I bought it for 2.5$ on discount, so I´m very satisfied with the content for that price, but I don´t think it is worth the full price. Wait for the discount.

The DLC that completes the game

A Game of Winter is a simple proposition - if you liked and finished the Dungeons 2 base game, buy this. If not, don't. This is the only full-sized expansion to the game (the other DLC are just map packs). It's fully-voiced, contains about as much gameplay as the full base game, adds a whole new faction, and more or less completes the unfinished storyline. It's substantially more challenging than the original game - most of that challenge is fair, but about 90% of your losses will come from mining into a dungeon room full of aggressive god-tier spiders before you're ready to fight them, which you had no way of knowing was there. It feels frustrating and cheap every time. The writing also leans even more in the direction of "pop culture reference = joke", so if that was annoying you before, this might push you beyond your limits. Nevertheless, it's a strong expansion to the core Dungeons 2 experience and well worth your money if you enjoyed what you already played. Recommended.

A nice conclusion to Dungeons II

Great follow and the only DLC worth getting. If you finished and enjoyed Dungeons II, definitely worth it. If you felt fatigued by the end, I'd let this one go. I enjoyed even more than the main game, as the new faction was my favorite so far.

Nice Conclusion but Very Difficult

This DLC is a nice conclusion to the main game and sets up Dungeons 3. It also follows the main game in style and humor. The big difference is that you play as the undead and there is an extreme difficulty spike. With 5 being a median difficulty the main game is around 3.5 to 4. This DLC ramps the difficulty up from 5 to 6 to 9 within the span of a few missions. The difficulty spike comes in a couple of forms. The first is that there are certain parts of the dungeon that if you dig into it to early, you will have unlimited spawns coming at you before you are prepared to deal with it...game over. Missions that require a lot of RTS speed and micro managing to prevent a cascading effect where you will eventually be overwhelmed by unlimited waves coming at you, just wearing you down through attrition....game over. If you are very good at micromanaging at speed and are pro RTS, this is probably fine for you. I had to use cheats to get through a few missions. With all this said, I do give it 4 stars, as I was allowed to cheat to get through and it is just a plain fun game. If you like a mix of Warcraft III RTS and War for the Overworld management, you will like this game.

Pretty good, but damn difficult

New team to play as, new campaign. I finished the main game without a problem but had to use cheats to get past a few levels, but it wasn't too bad in the last few episodes. If you liked the main game, you'll like this. Here's a link to a 'trainer' if you need cheats. Works well, easy to install. https://mrantifun.net/threads/dungeons-2-trainer.4258/
