Dungeon Siege

Dungeon Siege combines the immersive elements of a role-playing game with over-the-top intensity and non-stop action. Dungeon Siege plunges you into a continuous 3D fantasy world where you face off against an army of evil that has been unleashed.

You begin as a humble farmer, and as you travel through the world and gain new skills, you can gather a party of up to eight characters to aid you. Dungeon Siege impels the player into one over-the-top battle after the other as the storyline unfolds and a larger plot begins to reveal itself.

A world of adventure where you can explore sprawling landscapes in a seamlessly unfolding story awaits...

Dungeon Siege II

It’s been a generation since you vanquished the evil that plagued the Land of Ehb, and now…a new menace has awakened. In Dungeon Siege II, the sequel to the best-selling RPG from Gas Powered Games, you will be called on to again wield sword and spell to save the world from a growing abomination many years in the making.

A thousand years ago, the crusaders of Azunai crossed swords with the legions of Zaramoth in the final battle of a century-long rebellion. As the tyrannical god Zaramoth struck the final blow through Azunai’s trembling shield, the earth shook. In that moment, the forces of magic were unchained, and both armies were consumed in a brilliant cataclysm that stretched for leagues across the Plain of Tears. Only a scarred wasteland remained as final testament to the First Age of Man.

And for a millennium, magic has continued to spread to the farthest corners of the world, freely flowing to any who would command it. But the tide of magic has begun to wane, heeding instead the call of an ancient legacy. From the Plain of Tears a new heir beckons, and with each day his strength grows. Consuming those who submit, eradicating those who resist. With none to oppose his ascendance, the circle will be complete, and an ancient age will begin anew.

What fate will befall the Second Age of Man? The time for judgment is nigh.

Dungeon Siege III

For centuries legionnaires have protected the nation of Ehb until they were betrayed and all but driven to the brink of extinction. Now that evil has returned to Ehb the people turn to the few remaining Legionnaires for the protection of the past. As an heir to the legion will you accept this plea for help? How it will all be resolved is up to you!

Dungeon Siege III is an Action RPG that seamlessly blends intuitive fast-paced gameplay, a robust RPG system featuring a large selection of abilities, loot galore and the depth of story Square-Enix and Obsidian Entertainment are known for creating.

Dungeon Siege III also supports Polish and Russian language (text).

Dungeon Siege III: Treasures of the Sun

In Dungeon Siege III: Treasures of the Sun, players will extend their journey and travel beyond the borders of Ehb to an all-new environment: the Aranoi Desert. On their search for a lost Legion hero, players will fight through hordes of new villains only to find a forgotten abbey hiding a long-lost secret: the greatest treasure of the Azunite faith.

Key features:
  • New abilities: Players will be able to attain mastery of the arcane through powerful new attack, defense and healing abilities.
  • Level up to 35: Treasures of the Sun will further power up players by raising Dungeon Siege III's existing level cap from 30 to 35.
  • More monsters and items: Players will encounter new monsters in the Aranoi Desert—including mummies and giant skeletons—and will find more powerful items, adding to the thousands already available in Dungeon Siege III.
  • Reallocate Talent & Proficiency Points: Players can reallocate points spent in Proficiencies and Talents, enabling changes to character customization throughout the campaign.
  • New Enchanting System: Transmuting items now gives players chances at gaining powerful new Vials that allow them to enhance their weapons and armor through the DLC’s new enchanting system.

Incredible Value, Even At Regular Price!

The sale is amazing since I'd easily pay that much to play the original Dungeon Siege which is a beefy and fun ARPG by itself, but to throw in the second one is VERY generous! I've wanted to play the second since I played a demo of it way back when and I wanted to get it on Steam but it had horrible reviews complaining about bugs and crashes. I've played the second game now for an hour and it hasn't crashed and seems fully optimized. Also it's just as addicting as the original and I like the more gothic tone. I've heard terrible things about the third game, but hey, tossed in with the other two I'll happily give it a shot. The first game is just pure hack-slash exploration mass mob slaying bliss. Kit up your forces, trade in your sticks for larger sticks, designate party roles and you can set the team on auto fight to blaze through dungeons like a machine. Tons of loot to collect, hundreds of enemies, not terrible graphics, memorable music! The second game has brought down the scale a bit but with this comes an emphasis on story the original didn't have, and thankfully that means lots of enjoyable voice acting. The graphics have had a teeny overhaul and there's new things like faster progression of leveling, more specific class-based ability sets, and special abilities that will gib giant monsters. Still great fun. Haven't played the third but even if it's a dud I have two great games for a pittance. Thank you again Gog for making my childhood live again :D

Dungeon Siege 1 is a dream come true

Dungeon Siege 1 Simply amazing. It feels at times more like a strategy game, since you can control 8 characters. What follows are the most satisfying battles I ever had the joy of playing. You can modify the behaviour of your characters that they stay defensive, or kill everything in sight. You can pause the game at any time and give commands, for all at once or for each character individually. Combined with the pretty good loot and magic system and a strictly linear world map without the need to backtrack this game is special to me, one of the best hack and slash RPGs I've ever played! Which sadly leads me to Dungeon Siege 2 A mess. It only let's you have 6 characters, many keyboard short cuts are gone, the behaviour is not customizable any more. The graphics look better though. Still, I dropped it after a few hours because it got boring. Dungeon Siege 3 I didn't even bother after reading you control at max 2 characters. What made Dungeon Siege 1 so extremely satisfying was your party size and the world map that only knew one way: forward! Give 2 and 3 a go if you like, but don't expect the same experience like in 1 - one of the best action RPGs ever!

Great Games and now classics

I love Dungeon Siege, I remember this being one of the first full 3d party based rpgs but in a dialbo 2 style. The pack mule is iconic. I haven't played ds3 yet and I dismissed it, but this colleciton for the great price is going to have me trying it soon. Now I dropped 1 star for the lack of the expansions. (there is a way to enable these, check the forums for more info on that). Even if you don't have expansions these are great fun games. The mods out there make it even better, Ultima 5 and 6 remakes were phenomnal remakes for legendary classic games.

Great games that work on Win10

The games are as great as I remember them from my early teens and hold up gameplay wise. Only sad thing about this release is the lack of the expansions for DS1 and 2. However even without them you get a lot of fun and playtime. Anyone who likes a good ARPG should take a look at this and grab them while they're still on sale. At a buck per game you can't go wrong here.

A mixed bag.

The first Dungeon Siege is one of my all time favourite games. For its time it was groundbreaking. It has no area transitions so no waiting for the next bit to load, instead loading parts in the background. I didn't see that feature until the later Elder Scrolls games. This lends itself to exploring the whole of the game area as right until the very final section you can run all the way back to the very start. Gameplay is good and there are some interesting NPCs to interact with ("It's a bit nippy outside."). Dungeon Siege 2 was for me just average. For some reason they abandoned the micro-loads and reverted to traditional area transitions. The only thing that stands out for me (and not necessarily in a good way) is that it features what is probably the longest round-robin (i will give you this doohicky but I want something first) quest in any rpg being somewhere around twenty steps in all. Dungeon Siege 3... Meh. Simply put I felt this game just traded on the name and had no real substance. I am not too fussed about the lack of DLC for the first 2. I could take it or leave it. Also the lack of any multiplayer doesn't bother me as I only ever play single player anyway. So how to score this bundle? Definitely 5 stars for the first, 4 the second and an overly generous 2 for the third. Added together, averaged out and rounded up, gives you my score of 4 stars. TR
