I still have the old disc, doesn't work, downloaded it from EA/Origin, didn't work, leave it to GOG to salvage and preserve my very first strategy game, over fifteen years since I last booted up the game with confidence, and now it runs better than it did back in the day, Thank you for keeping these classic experiences alive

Ah the many hours spend torturing heroes, slapping minions and destroying rival keepers. After many futile attempts and getting frustrated trying to get my original copy working, I was overjoyed seeing DK2 in the GOG store. It's running very stable and the gameplay is as good as it gets. The controls are a bit outdated but you will get the hang of it soon enough. No point asking yourself if you should get it, ask yourself why you haven't bought it yet!
