Dungeon Keeper™ 2

I have always been a big fan of Dungeon Keeper 2 but after playing for a few hours, the game is now systematically crashing after a couple of minutes. A real shame. It would be best to first truly ensure the game is compatible with Windows 8 before releasing it. I have tried multiple solutions, as suggested on Gog's forum but none of these have worked for me.

this is crap. i pay for something that doesn't even run? this is a rip off if shit cant even download properly. I can't believe people are paying for this and I can't believe i wasted $6.

Game wont start on windows 10. Just says it cant start correctly and "(0xc0000022)"

Some of my fondest memories of gool 'ol windows 95 was games like starcraft, doom/2, and Quake1. But some of the funnest times was with this gem of a game. I was heartbroken when my older PC's died si I could no longer slap imps, torture heroes, and dig out ungodly wealth from gem deposits. Heartbreak turned to total outrage when I heard that the DK mantle was passed to the abomination that was the mobile game. It seemed keeping dungeons was gone forever. There were other atttempts to dungeon mastery, some good, some terrible, and not even the best compared to DK2. So, when I got word that the old grand game was made windows 10 compatable, I just had to see, and when I saw it was a mere $1.49, on sale I just had to buy (personally it's a steal at $10) . I just played a bit ago without a hitch. No problems in any way, just like I was transported back to the mid 90's. if you like playing god, dungeons, the fantsy genre, or playing the bad guy (or any combination of those), well, BUY THIS GAME!!! My only wish with this is a HD remake, as it does liik dated (but nice for the time), but for a gem such as this, it's worth putting up with.

Can't get the game to stretch across the entire screen and I couldn't care less after playing the first level. It's one of those games where you get hooked right away. Added bonus due to older graphics: perfect for laptops. One thing to note though: you have to enable DirectPlay in newer versions of Windows for it to work.
