Dungeon Keeper Gold™

This game is amazingly fun and so full of nostalgia for me. The only bad thing is that there seems to be a glitch where on occasion the mouse will shoot to one side of the screen and stay there no matter what i do (it is not my mouse/computer that has the issue), making the game unplayable and forcing me to restarts the game. 5 stars for the game, losing one for the glitch.

DOSBox makes it games terrible. It is not playable ("offline lags"). Anyway, it's a cool game!

Excellent game, nothing new to say there, BUT - Russell Shaw's glorious soundtrack is nowhere to be heard in this release. There's clearly a slider for Music Volume in the settings. Very disappointing. The demonic atmosphere of Dungeon Keeper is terribly undermined without the deep, dark and disturbing soundtrack heard on the original CD release.

Ehi, guys...i cannot do level 10. AI attacks me with 20 creature after 10 minutes. =< Some help?

Years ago, I got this game at a garage sale. I fell in love instantly. Now, I bought this game so I can use it on Windows 8.1. Obviously, the graphics aren't amazing, but the game itself is great. I've never really seen anything like it before or since. You get to build your own evil lair and kill things. It has a nice balance of building up vs. going on the offensive (limited gold options allow for time while keeping it fairly fast-paced). Sometimes the UI is a little confusing and you don't always know where fights are taking place, only that they are. Also, it can be difficult to keep your imps out of hostile territory as doors can only be placed in corridors and there's no way to build walls or blocks (at least not at the point I'm at currently). Overall, these issues are minor and can be countered in various ways. I'd highly recommend this game to anyone.
