Duck Detective: The Secret Salami

I highly recommend it, it was fun to play and i liked the paper feel of the characters and everything. Nice detective thinking too! Only downside it's length, the game is rather short for it's price but i did enjoyed it so i did go for the second Duck Detective game which i hope will be as good or better but longer.

Note: I was introduced to this game by the youtube channel PushingUpRoses. Being a fan of the mystery genre, I tend to gravitate towards the occasional mystery-driven point and click game. The Duck Detective is right there. Colorful and cute, with a cozy mystery to solve, funny characters to interact with, and lots of bread. At the same time, the gameplay is just the right balance of simple and deep enough to keep interest for the couple of hours it takes to uncloak the secrets and find out whodunit. The voice acting, graphics, and level design are all solid, and everything combines to make for a great rainy Saturday afternoon.

Amazing detective game but I've encountered a bug that didnt let me proceed. For the Deducktion: The Business I was missing 1 word, Buses, that was found on a pinboard accross the crocodile. I solved the pinboard but did not recieved the word, so even if I have all the words to solve The Business statement, nothing happens. The detective confirms I got it right but nothing no progress is done. I'll replay it again one day, just to experience it fully, hopefully I wont meet the bug again, unlucky.

quite short but god mechanics with i never seen before

I really hope to see more in the future. I paid 9€ for this game which has enough content for a single play session. There's just one case to solve. Which makes this very expensive. I would recommend this game to fans of The Case of The Golden Idol or The Obra Dinn and if money isn't too tight.
