There is something so special about Dros. If you like story based, puzzle platformers then this game is for you. The main characters are wonderful and it's so different to what's out there at the moment. You can feel the effort the developers put into this with all the tiny details.
The switching between the characters is fun because you can explore the world in different ways. The dialogue is funny, reminds me of older games from the 90's a bit.
Definitely a game I will play again to collect all the hidden items. Can't recommend enough.
Dros has a lot of passion and nostalgia put into it's development and it shows.
Sparking nostalgia from beloved collectathon puzzle-platformer classics with the added twist of being able to control two characters, this game feels truly unique especially with its cute ghibli artstyle!
It's funny too - lots of funny bickering between the two stuck-together characters and plenty of pop culture references throughout it's generous story length.
The best way to play is to go for all collectibles, there are so many little hidden away areas, characters and easter eggs that would be a shame to miss!
Highly recommend you give it a go, you won't regret it!
Some combats, not too many, to enjoy the game if you are more an adventurer than a rogue like enhusiast.
I was searching for a king of Death's Doors / Retro Machina alternative and found this one! Nice 3D graphics rotative screen. Cool duo-characters and story.
1/5 (2/5 if it werent for EOS and other..)
BE AWARE that this game has EOS!
EOS is sometimes snuck into our games under the guise of being there to help with epics online multiplayer services.
I wonder what its doing in offline singleplayer games then.
It is very much known to leech our data from our entire device and any connected drives, clogging up internet speed and taking up resources with increased cpu/ fan speed etc.
Ppl on older machines with little on it will feel it easily when its 'busy' at work.
I dont care if devs say they dont know about it, that its just there to help with 'epic services' or w/e.
It is one of the most widespread data leech spyware programs in games, its proven to be, and even if its 'currently' inactive in that game, it CAN and often DOES get activated at any given point. It is spyware and malware in every sense of the word and reported as such by most security scanners, even as a trojan with fingerprinting which should greatly concern everyone.
Why does a single player offline game want to use something that sends our data to Epic/ third parties without our knowledge and permission?
To have this on ur machine = net, privacy and data loss!
Some devs have good intentions and dont know about this if they use a different build b/c its automatically included in some of the UE versions or are simply new.
But given the nature of this game and its contents I think its very intentional here.
If u choose to trust them and/or dont care, go ahead and leave it be.
Those that care might want to remove EOSSDK-win64-shipping.dll.
It is hiding in your plugin folder.
My data and privacy is certainly none of your business.
Additionally you can look into blocking the epic domains in your firewall or host file for increased privacy. This might break some games as some devs will do whatever they can to get that data and inject sneaky hindrances. I have rarely come across this myself but always backup save files first.
Also BE AWARE that this entire game is referencing other things.
I will only vaguely mention and let u make ur own interpretations.
Opinions are my own and Im certainly crazy .

Its a simple platformer with cute sounds and dialogue that you end up skipping through halfway.
I did enjoy parts of it but it was greatly diminished by all the stuff I saw.
At 80% I skipped everything, and stopped collecting, I just wanted it done with.
Frustrating camera angles designed for console that u end up cursing throughout.
The option to change the speed is useless, slow is too slow, medium is WAY too fast.
I made peace with seeing sideways and running into things occasionally.
All seeing eye spy on u, eyes on the walls. The Dros u merge with is an eye on ur back.
Dros and map icon is a triangle with 1 eye.
The game is about reaching the top of the tower.(which on a drawing further in looks like a peepee).
Enki's magic soda, tingling feeling(radiation), seek shelter b4 the radiation storm hits(great reset).
Lets put Prima in the soda they drink in game to make the evil dros we fight peaceful (flouride in water makes u compliant+whats in our soda?)
Little dros are failed experiments, worked to their death as slaves in a system, they think they have a voice but when they use it they are killed.
Lots of symbols that hint to darker real life things.
Probably coincidence! Or maybe not?
Some grafitti letters look like a baby head with sviwel on top.
SOS posters where the O is replaced with a child/dros face where one eye is a X.
If u dont know what this refer to thats on u.
The 44 angel number, and 4, is splattered all over.
Outward mean stabilty growth humility, but really means chaos violence.
Bad number used/corrupted by certain groups.
I have so much more but I'll leave it at that.
iykyk.
For a Better Day.
