as a dude who pretty much in any game with a fishing element just drops everything and just gets caught up in the fishing, sell, profit loop every single time; this game is a massive dream come true... for horror fans especially(like yours truly). extremly chill when you want it to be, inventory management(I find fun) and the lovecraftian style cosmic horror. there is so much here for most... definatly give it a shot. it's a total recommend at full price for sure. a no question grab if on sale.

PLAY THIS!
A gem of a game. Not too long in terms of campaign, a few extra hours for all of the side quests too. Good game mechanics and interesting stroyline. Just an overall great game, simple, yet extremely effective.
I am 8 hours in and it is a fun little game. Just perusing the islands and fishing is very relaxing. I would recommend to anyone who wants a game they can enjoy, put down and then pick up again without missing a beat. It is surprisingly deep withouyt being burdensome.
A nice chill fishing game with some eldritch horror to spice it up.
It's easy to enjoy fishing and dredging with their minigame mechanics. One just need to remember taking care of their ship (and sanity) to steadily progress in the game.
I expected a Lovecraftian game draped in skin of a fishing simulator, but I got a repetetive fishing simulator with Lovecraftian horror written on with with ketchup.
To put it simply, the game doesn't dive deep enough in the eldrich nor does it give sufficient incentive to engage with the elements there are. All catching mutants give you is some extra money, which you can get enough just with crab traps and trawl net. Definetly not something you'd need to risk fishing at night for and even those for quest can be caught occationaly at day.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
