One of my favorite adventure game saga

Happy to have played this new beginning for the serie. Even if some elements seems a little bit old school, the story, muscis and the adventure and puzzle makes it a must. Not too easy, not too hard. Worthed the waiting. Hope to see more soon.

What was that?!?

The whole game felt like a prologue to an actual game and ended abruptly, where the story began to get interesting. This is definitely not a complete game.

4+5 make a decent game

When bought together (£15 for both rather than £15 each) this makes for an excellent game. The story, settings, and graphics are excellent and suitably atmospheric, the characterisation is sound, and the puzzles sufficiently challenging. The games get a bad press because, released as individual purchases they are no way near worth the outlay, and even taken together are still quite a short game, hence 4 stars not 5, but the game itself is an enjoyable experience and definitely one I'd recommend to fans of the genre. Just wish they'd make a number 6 (and make it a full length game akin to Brokensword or similar) rather than could-be-longer episodes.

A good little adventure game!

It is good to have a "grown-up" scenario (because I am fan of the Péndulo, just missed a myst-like) The price is honest, it is not expensive ($20) for its length but we have to wait for the next game I was stuck on some puzzles (lockpicking mostly) but in all the gameplay is fluid, you don't stay stuck for hours and hours. Not a lot of NPC, mostly exploration. 4 stars, then! A good little game!

Really bad game

Everything is static, pre-rendered models, no animations whatsoever, artificial and forced puzzles - clockwork mechanisms everywhere, secret compartments, stupid ciphers, nothing makes much sense. The occasional characters are as alive as rubber dolls. Over the course of the game, you must heal yourself with various pills and consumables, which is really pointless, because sources like infinite fruit bowls are often present. The conclusion is absurd and unrewarding. Not recommended, unless you are desperate for clunky adventures of the "I have a house full of puzzles, wanna play?" style.
