Have I said it is great? Because it is

I really like this game. I don't say that very often. It is so accessible, yet complex. A child can learn the basics in ten seconds, yet it keeps ramping up the difficulty at an enticing pace. I get vibes of Metroid, but also of classic scrolling shooters, as well as a bit of River City Ransom-eque shopping for power-ups. There is more than meets the eye. I keep coming back to it because it invokes the feel of the games I played in the 90's, but without the jank.

This is a faithful port of a mobile game that sold for a couple of dollars. There's not much to it - fall down, kill monsters by falling on them, collect small upgrades, repeat. It's surprisingly addictive for a couple of hours, and at that point you've seen everything there is to see. A tasty morsel, but don't expect a meal.

Old school style game. Fun for playing 5-10 minutes at a time. My only complaint is the difficulty of the game. It's _very_ hard to pass 100%.
