    Trip the light Fandango to a Broken Age

    Excellent set of 20 episodes, and now I am going through the Extras (Additional purchase). You really do get an overall view of the trials and tribulations of game development, and it does make you wonder why they do it all, and this was a scenario that didn't involve publishers, which would be even worse. The highs & lows, tinged with brilliance, splendor and sadness. It leaves you with heaps of respect for all the hard work and angst they go through, and the very tough decisions they have to make sometimes. I've yet to play Broken Age, but I am now looking forward to it even more. I do wish they had made the spoiler that occurs in two of the later episodes (after half way) an extra, as I was so invested in watching the series, I did not want to stop. All in all a great watch for a bargain price of $4.99 AUD.

    Remember Spacebase DF-9

    Double Fine has a dubious record for completion of games. Spacebase DF-9 was their largest debacle. Promised as an easier to understand version of Dwarf Fortress with better graphics, the only thing that was actually true was the graphics. After delaying the game and letting it flounder on Steam's Early Access, when it was finally released it was a complete mess full of bugs and crashes with it nothing being like Dwarf Fortress at all. Instead of fixing the game, Double Fine abandoned it for their next scam. When you hear "Double Fine" always remember Spacebase DF-9.
