Morality in Gaming
The game itself is amazing, it blends resource management with worker placement and city builder really well. The domains and events are interesting, add RNG but with the ability to manipulate them and manage to be simple to understand. Each mechanic meshes together well is also very easy to intuit and get into, while still opening up countless options for any given turn. The real reason I decided to write a review however is really small and simple. After about 90 minutes of my first session when I hit end turn I got a little notification saying it's a good idea to take a break every hour or so. I than hit end turn again and it progressed like normal. I think this is a very non-intrusive way to look after the health of your gamers and it being implemented makes me feel really good about the developers of this game. Someone willing to put the time in to make a little notification like that I think is very unlikely to do shady things like dark pattern microtransactions, DLC milking, time wasters or any number of other things modern game designers seem to shove into their games to make money at the expense of their consumers. So yeah, developer(s?) are moral people that made an amazing game and you should give it a try.
