Cool Horror Puzzle Game!
Highly recommended! 😀 The review claiming it's a 1-hour game is misleading. There's actually 4-5 hours of puzzle gameplay in there.

Hello, David. We meet again. Did you enjoy our last game? Because it’s time to play again!
Don’t Be Afraid 2 is a first person perspective horror game and a sequel to the 2020 game of the same title. Take on the role of David, a young man trying to cope with terrible trauma from his childhood, and dive deep into his fears and nightmares.
Relive the darkest moments of David’s life while exploring the horrific locations, gathering clues about his past and solving puzzles left behind by the deranged murderer toying with his life.
15 years ago, David went through a nightmare.
Kidnapped by a pair of deviant serial murderers and forced to take part in their deadly games, the young boy miraculously survived and escaped what he thought would be his final resting place.
Scars are slow to heal, though. For years, David tried to pick up the pieces and deal with the damage those events left on him. Unable to keep a job, find a partner, or even handle simple daily tasks, he leads a pitiful life under the watchful eye of his therapist.
And despite his desperate attempts, his past might catch up to him sooner than he expected…

AWFUL escape room game
It's nothing like first one so dont bother buying it unless you like lot of puzzles like Escape the room style with tiny horror elements .

A bad escape game basically
Very bad game. Short, no save during rooms so if you fail for no reason you have to restart 30min+ of seeking all elements. Some puzzles are complete non sense. Many problems on controls with controllers or steam deck / rog ally.

Unnecessary!
No, I don't own the game but I watched an entire longplay of it last night. It's only an hour or so and doesn't add anything to the story. My problem focuses on the change in gameplay elements. We're now given what amounts to a 7th Guest style adventure with no real chase elements (minus the final act, which is a straight line to the exit littered with previous puzzles) There's no need to hide either as you're confined in small rooms with barely any freedom of movement. There's no need to get away from anything in the game. The mannequins have been relegated to jump scares, they don't do much of anything either. The only purpose of this game is to give you a slew of logic puzzles that in the end only convolute the mystery further. The ending also made things even muddier than the original ending to the first game where at least it was up to the player to decide what happened. This feels like an unnecessary DLC to a game that should have been a one and done. If the developers wanted to make a puzzle game based on a series of murders, it would have been better as a standard IP. Everything in this game should have been divorced from David, Mr. Franklin and those established characters. I feel that the developers insulted my intelligence with this game, there's no way I'd actually waste money on it. While the first game is a truly horrifying well-planned experience, the only people I can recommend this to are people who enjoy puzzlers with the occasional jump scare. Additionally, the photo/fingerprints puzzle was unnecessarily convoluted. I have no idea what these devs were trying to accomplish here, but this is just not what I would have had in mind for a sequel to an indie gem. Once again, there are more puzzles and generally walking around than anything else here.
