Scientific research is not unlike the work of a detective. Revealing hidden connections and subtle patterns has a lot in common with untangling the web of meanings, studying causes and predicting consequences. If one correctly combines blocks of data and determines their connectivity, one may eventually uncover the truth. But that truth and the explanation of everything that has happened may come as a shock to the one who finds it.
Dofamine is a first-person sci-fi puzzle game where the player must explore the labyrinth of riddles and investigate the apocalyptic event at the research facility following the experiments with the Higgs boson, or “the God particle”.
INVESTIGATE A MYSTERY
In order to advance the investigation you must explore the sci-fi surroundings and uncover clues — blocks of data that must be correctly combined and reconnected.
LEARN THE PRICE OF KNOWLEDGE
We do not claim that ignorance is bliss, but… you can’t play God and write it off as a joke afterwards. A game like that always leads to dire consequences.
TRUST YOUR INSIGHT
A unique soundtrack will help you unleash your full investigative potential. Forget your doubts, and allow the sounds of music to guide you towards the truth.

The game is actually quite well thought out
Pros - certainly interesting and varied puzzles and their resolution options. And of the cons, the presentation of story. The plot is revealed through the entries in the diary, which, although interesting, but aren't convenient to read.
Like many, I watched the trailer for this game and expected a good amount of puzzles that would take a fair amount of time and brainpower to complete. Unfortunately, everything you see in the trailer is all there is to this and the ending appears very abruptly. I will go into more detail below:
Puzzles: The primary premise of this game is to activate a light trigger or pressure plate in order to pass through a wall of light, allowing you to enter the next area. This is completed by using a solid brick, lazer splitter, or a slider mechanism. After the first two areas it becomes really clear on how to fly through the rest of the game. There are far less puzzles than I had expected, leading to a very short playtime of around 20-30 minutes.
Environment: The environment itself looks really nice, but I do wish there was more to it. Most objects cannot be interacted with and will just be there to get in the way of moving your blocks.
Plot: The storyline itself is comprised of a series of notes that unlock automatically as you proceed through the game. I feel like the plot itself could have been fleshed out a lot more by adding optional areas or collectibles. You can also play through the entire game without thinking there even is a plot as it plays almost no part in what you are trying to accomplish in each area. The ending itself also felt very abrupt, to the point to where I thought I had missed something.
Overall: This is a very short game with a fairly basic puzzle premise. The plot itself is there, but plays almost no part in what you are doing. Everything the trailer shows, is exactly what is in the game. I'm giving this 2 stars as the environment itself does look nice and there is a little thought behind the puzzles, but I would enjoy this a lot more if it was more fleshed out.
I loved how this game really challenged my problem-solving skills. Each puzzle was like a little mystery waiting to be solved, and it felt so rewarding when I finally figured out the solution. And the story was so interesting and kept me hooked the entire time.
Didn't like the abrupt change of music
this clunky and very short game takes about an hour to finish once you've actually started the game. don't buy it unless it is on a super-deep-bargain-bin-discount.
