Divinity: Original Sin - Enhanced Edition

I've played a lot of fantasy rpgs, and the elements are definitely here for a game I would really like. But there are significant problems. First one probably seems really nitpicky, but it drove me insane. In combat, I kept trying to click on the person I wanted my character to attack, but they just moved to place I clicked on instead. It happened so many times and if I tried to click on the bad guy but was off by even one millimeter, I would waste the character's turn. What makes it harder is that even when it's not their turn, characters will still shift back and forth, so it's really, really easy to miss them. Secondly, spells and weapons that have an area of effect are really hard to aim. You click on the grenade, a little circle pops up around your cursor so that you can see who will be affected by the grenade. Then you position your cursor so that bad guys will fall within the area of effect, but nobody from your party. Then you throw the grenade and your party members get hit by the grenade anyway. This happened many times. Also, sometimes it's just not clear what you're supposed to do in order to finish a quest. Multiple times I just couldn't figure out what my characters were supposed to do. In the case of one side quest, I did exactly what I was told to do, but for some reason my journal still showed the quest as unfinished. Yes, there are online walkthroughs but in places even they weren't helpful. This is a very difficult game. You ever have it happen in an RPG where a fight is so difficult you need every single spell/potion/trick in your arsenal to finish it? That was every fight here. I played for 30 hours and got maybe ten percent of the way into the game. I know I can adjust the difficulty settings, but it is a little frustrating when you try everything you can think of but still find that fights early on in the game are beyond your abilities. Still giving it 3 stars because the basic ingredients are here and sometimes combat was really fun

nice start of one of the best CRPG saga

The only complaint is the slow walking speed. Everything else seems solid so far. oh and the little agree disagree minigame.

I've always loved Divine Divinity

Overall I think this game is great, lots of interactibility, fun characters, good writing, and mostly decent combat (if somewhat on the easy side outside of boss battles, especially towards the end). There are however two or three areas that require basically pixel hunting for buttons to move on. Which is absurdly frustrating. Also had two puzzles that didn't figure out they're solved the first time I solve them, so I had to resolve them. Annoying, but minor nitpick.
