Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

They did it again! Original Sin 1 was a blast of a RPG, not overly original but well executed and fun to play. In this sequel they improved the formula and pushed it to excelence. I have sunk in this game over 100 hours and haven't finished it yet, but I am enjoying every minute of it.

Very well done game in the vein of Baldurs gate, this is an easy buy for any RPG fan.

Great game! The battles are fun and the plot is very interesting. Your party members could use a bit more polish, but they are good as is. I enjoyed this game almost as much as Witcher 3, and that's saying a whole lot.

There's a rich interaction between the elements that begs for experimentation. Every element has delightful interactions (e.g blood, fire, poison, water, steam, lightning, frost, oil, poison mist, ...) For instance, you could cast rain on a battlefield, poison the water and then set it on fire. Once the inferno has run the course you can put it out with a gentle rain, and then freeze your enemies solid with frost. Combat is a joy for the devious. :) The world itself is compelling and beautiful. You get sucked into quests and exploration -- the depth draws you in. Best RPG of all time -- definitely worth a purchase!

I played a wide range of RPG games, from classics like Baldur's Gate to newest Pillars of Eternity or Dishonored type of games, and this is on par with the best of them. Superb storytelling, fleshed-out characters, impressive and perfectly fitting music, great scenery and optimised fighting. 100% recommend to anyone who likes meaningful gaming.
