The eagerly anticipated sequel to the award-winning RPG. Gather your party. Master deep, tactical combat. Join up to 3 other players - but know that only one of you will have the chance to become a God.

The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. The battle for Divinity has begun. Choose wisely and trust sparingly; darkness lurks within every heart.

Who will you be?

A flesh-eating Elf, an Imperial Lizard or an Undead, risen from the grave? Discover how the world reacts differently to who - or what - you are.

It’s time for a new Divinity!

Gather your party and develop relationships with your companions. Blast your opponents in deep, tactical, turn-based combat. Use the environment as a weapon, use height to your advantage, and manipulate the elements themselves to seal your victory.

Ascend as the god that Rivellon so desperately needs.

Explore the vast and layered world of Rivellon alone or in a party of up to 4 players in drop-in/drop-out cooperative play. Go anywhere, unleash your imagination, and explore endless ways to interact with the world. Beyond Rivellon, there’s more to explore in the brand-new PvP and Game Master modes.

  • Choose your race and origin. Choose from 6 unique origin characters with their own backgrounds and quests, or create your own as a Human, Lizard, Elf, Dwarf, or Undead. All choices have consequences.

  • Unlimited freedom to explore and experiment. Go anywhere, talk to anyone, and interact with everything! Kill any NPC without sacrificing your progress, and speak to every animal. Even ghosts might be hiding a secret or two…

  • The next generation of turn-based combat. Blast your opponents with elemental combinations. Use height to your advantage. Master over 200 skills in 12 skill schools. But beware - the game’s AI 2.0 is our most devious invention to date.

  • Up to 4-player online and split-screen multiplayer. Play with your friends online or in local split-screen with full controller support.

  • Game Master Mode: Take your adventures to the next level and craft your own stories with the Game Master Mode.

Best RPG ever created

I've played this game on Steam but it's so good that I decided to lose my precious time to rate it again on GoG because it's so phenomenal! You do not feel at all that you 'have to' do something. You just WANT to go ahead and journey through land and listen to more and more funny text. That's the game that you should buy for the full price and do not wait for promotion because devs such a great work that they deserve every penny. Do not lose your time and enter the game. Maybe after 2 hours you will finally pick you character!

My First Real CRPG and I love it.

I've never really been a fan of CRPG's. I've always liked the idea of indepth narratives and questing, but so often games felt way too overwhelming, and I could never enjoy them. None-the-less, I saw the high praise Divinity Original Sin II was getting and decided that I had to try it, so I got a friend and booted it up. What followed was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. We spent our first ten hours trying to find a way out of Fort Joy, and after finally escaping, we realized that it was only the beginning. We still had to escape the isle. Keep in mind this was the tutorial area still, and my friend and I were scratching our heads trying to find a way out of there. We followed each lead we had carefully, creatively coming up with solutions to problems when we were underlevelled, and tactially executing plans before they all inevitabely blew up in our faces. But every now and then there were those moments where you would beat the system. You'd go up against all odds, you'd sneak past by some miracle, or you'd find a clever solution with an item you picked up, and the best part of DOSII is that it facilliates this through open ended gameplay design. Soon two people who had never understood CRPGs, were at the final boss of the island, and made it out alive by a hair. And we did it all on our own. That's where DOSII really succeeds. It gives the player agency, and respects your time and intelligence immensely, allowing you to come up with solutions to problems the developers may have never even considered by giving you the tools to do so. So, if you're new to CRPGs, and want to get into them but cant decide on this one, I say give it a go. Because with an open mind, what you'll find is an in-depth, immersive, rewarding experience with a great story, create characters and great gameplay. Easily one of the most well made games I've ever played, and certainly one of my favorites. I highly recommend it.

Same as Original Sin 1

I did not really enjoy any Larian game so far, because I do not like their writing. I do love (isometric) CRPGs tho and have played almost every major title and then some. I did not finish Original Sin 1, because the gameplay became boring when the only thing that could hurt my party was "random lava miss clicking" and the story and dialogues were just not good and silly. So now I caved and finally bought what apparently the whole world prizes at the "best CRPG ever" and i do not like it all: - No "origin" for origin characters. What am I supposed to roleplay here? - constant breaking of character needed to progress - still a ton of sill 3year old jokes breaking immersion every two sentences - horrible UI and Inventory - It gets dull pretty fast to slug your way through thrash mobs in round based combat - main cause of death and strife still is the UI, because you accidently walked into a deathzone / stole something / drew your weapons / took someones chair and no one is accepting "Sorry, I just wanted to move by and get the tooltip for that npc" as an excuse.

Probably best cRPG since BG 2

The combat is fun to use and on top of that hard af. Almost no encounter can be beaten 1 try. while most likely not for anyone, it hits exactly the mark with me. The Story is at least interesting this time, so miles ahead of Original Sin 1 and in an other universe compared to Pillars. The Charakters are interesting and from time to time really dark, giving a little Vicionia vibe. On top of that it looks decent enough and the MP possibilitys are awesome. One of the best games of this Year.

Really a great game

I've purchased this game in Alpha - it was great, but it felt kind of unbalanced and was really hard (or I really sucked, which is of course always an option ;)). So for all of you people who have the same concerns I did: the game feels way more balanced (in normal/classic mode) now than in Alpha. The fights are (sometimes) challenging, but I never feel like "omg, who should I survice this?!" with intense preperaton before each fight (like casting rain etc. on your potential enemies, so that you can stunlock-shock them). All in all this is one of the best RPGs out there in the moment, as far as I can tell after the first hours of playing the "final" version.
