Dishonored = game art.

I have owned these games for a while now. I have played them, and replayed them, and then replayed them again. For me just the art is worth owning them. I love the design in the Dishonored series. I also love the stealth gameplay, the world building, the wonderful powers you get. There are levels in these games that have to be seen to be believed. There are levels with rooms that can morph and move. There is also a game mechanic in the last game that allows you to jump between two timelines. Utterly fascinating. These games are art! They really are. If Arkane produced a dozen more of these I would buy them all.

Fantastic addition to GOG.com!

I own all Dishonored games on Steam. All of them are absolutely worth it. I recommend leaving Death of the Outsider for last, though, since is last of the chronology. Anyway, all 3 games are extremely engaging, with big, complex levels with plenty of paths and approaches to take, whether aggresive, or stealth or a mix, there's always a good way to play the game. Bear in mind though, the gameplay mechanics favor aggression over stealth but at the same time Dishonored 1 and 2 are very punitive story-wise if you go killing everyone. The graphics are very good, the first one aged vey well, gorgeous art direction, fluid and easy controls, you can be as creative as you want. Exploration is extremely rewarding, not only on items and money but on lore too if you mind. If you are new to Dishonored: Complete Collection, this is the best time to get them all!

Finally.

The Dishonored series is finally DRM-free. There's almost nothing to add to all the other reviews. Dishonored has a status as an absolute legend amongst many PC players. Dishonored 2 especially has not only by far the best level design I've ever seen in any game, it also has the most creative, most responsive and overall best gameplay in any (3D) game series (ofc a masterpiece like Hollow Knight is even a touch more responsive but it's a 2D metroidvania where it's way easier to have short, responsive animations). The story is pretty weak, but everything else about this game screams masterpiece. You should have a pretty powerful PC for a consistent framerate though. Now, we only need Prey on GOG and the Arkane legacy here is completed.

100% A Must have, For Any Gamer...

So far, I'm only half way through Dishonored 2 and just beat what might be one of the most intricately complex and well thought out Levels of all time. Dishonored 2's "The Clockwork Mansion." This level took me 5 and a Half Hours to beat on Hard without being seen by any enemys... The level of Detail in this Game is rediculous. The freedom to play each mission how you want is also great for a game that plays out in a linear fashion. Imagine if they made a title that was compleley Open World... My personal Rating. 10/10 ❤ Audience ❤ For people who like stealth games like Assassins Creed or Thief. ☼ Graphics ☼ Friggin amazing for a game that came out 4 years ago. Highly detailed environments at every turn. 🌍Map Design🌏 Artfully crafted and well thought out. The mission "The Clockwork Mansion" was one of the most intricate and dynamic levels I've ever played in a Game. ♬ Music ♬ It's very nice and fits the Game and situations well. ☠ Difficulty ☠ Depends on your playstyle. It's harder to use your brain to be sneaky and go unseen, but it's easy if you just wanna kill all the enemies.... or civilians.... I prefer being sneaky as it extends the Time needed to beat each mission. 🐞Bugs 🐝 Surprisingly I haven't found any. ☯ Story ☯ The story isn't very deep and there aren't alot of cut scenes. However, the story is there if you're willing to read and find lore within the game. ⚔ Gameplay ⚔ Sneak past your enemies without killing them, or sneakily find ways to assasinate them. Make it look like an accident, or jump in guns and sword blazing. Choice is yours. Game time / Length Depends on how you play. Im currently on a full Stealth/pacifist run on Hard Difficulty. Im only on the 5th mission and I've spent 24hours so far. $ Price / Quality $ 100% Worth it...

A trilogy of immense value

I own these games on Steam, sadly, but I wanted too add a review here because the Dishonored trilogy consists of some of the greatest games I've ever played. Growing up on Thief: The Dark Project, I always loved the stealth and steampunk vibes that the game had. That's why, when I heard that most of the devs on the then-upcoming Dishonored had worked on Thief, I knew I wanted to give it a try. It wasn't a priority at the time and took a couple years before I gave it a go but I'm kicking myself for not playing it sooner. The first game is my favorite as it has a great combination of fantastic storytelling, great level design and memorable moments. The second game has some of the prettiest graphics I've ever seen and its story is also really good; it only suffers from a couple missteps in the level design, which is solid otherwise. As for Death of the Outsider, it's essentially just more of Dishonored 2, which is not a bad thing. Dishonored is a franchise that combines remarkable storytelling, loads of player freedom, great level design and detail in the levels, along with an awesome setting and memorable characters. The stories always focus on the topic of vengeance but each one has a different inflection on that theme. As for player freedom, you can play it as an FPS instead of a stealth game if you want; when a stealth game gives you the option to go guns-blazing, then you know it's a free experience. That carries over into the level design, which is literally crafted around the notion of offering the player a plethora of paths they can take to get to their objectives (and those objectives are often pretty flexible as well). And as for the setting, it's this really cool mix of Victorian elements with apocalyptic elements. It'd be considered "whalepunk", as technology is powered by whale oil rather than steam. In general, this trilogy gives such incredible value for your purchase. All three are masterpieces and must-own titles for any fan of stealth games!
