Interrogate unforgettable characters, crack murders or take bribes. Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being.

Full voice acting. All of the city's beautiful people are brought to life with full English voiceover. Play characters against each other, try to help them, or fall hopelessly in love as each word is spoken to you with the appropriate accent and emotion.

New political vision quests. Face the reality of your worldview as your political compass leads you down new paths. Discover more citizens, a whole extra area, and monumental sights as you leave an even bigger mark on the world by chasing your dreams.

Unprecedented freedom of choice. Intimidate, sweet-talk, resort to violence, write poetry, sing karaoke, dance like a beast, or solve the meaning of life. Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is the most faithful representation of desktop role playing ever attempted in video games.

Countless tools for role playing. Mix and match from 24 wildly different skills. Develop a personal style with over 80 clothing items. Wield 14 tools from guns to flashlights to a boombox, or pour yourself a cocktail of 6 different psychoactive substances. Develop your character even further with 60 wild thoughts to think – with the detective's Thought Cabinet.

A revolutionary dialogue system with unforgettable characters. The world is alive with real people, not extras. Ask probing questions, make insightful observations, or express your wildest desires as you play cop or something completely different. Disco Elysium's revolutionary dialogue system lets you do almost anything.

Carve your unique path across the city. Explore, manipulate, collect tare, or become a millionaire in an open world unlike anything you've seen before. The city of Revachol is yours for the taking, one small piece at a time. From the streets to the beaches – and beyond.

Hard boiled, hard core. Death, sex, taxes, and disco – nothing is off the table. Revachol is a real place with real challenges. Solve a massive murder investigation, or relax and kick back with sprawling side-cases. The detective decides, the citizens abide.

SPOILER: Great Game - for the first half

WARNING: MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD! I'LL BE TALKING ABOUT THE ENDING!! . . . This game is a kind of tragedy. It starts out great with an interesting world, unique characters and the promise of thrilling detective story with twists, turns and a lot of suspects that all have their own agenda. Than add a touch of politics and some strange, quirky humor and all is set for an experience to remember. And the game delivers for the first acts of the story. You collect clues and constantly have to re-evaluate who are the good and who are the bad guys. And than in the last Act it falls completely flat. Gone are the descissions, you just follow a pretty linear path to the ending. And worst of all: When it comes to the solution to the mystery: the game gives you a big middle finger. If you tryed to solve the case by yourself - forget it. All the questioning of suspects, all the back and forth, all the contradicting testemonies, all the "who might be lying" - you can forget it all. Because in the end (SPOILER!!!) the killer turns out to just be a random guy you have never met before, that was never mentioned before and none of the witnesses knew. So the game is basically 30 hours of inconsequential questioning people, than you realize that the shot might also have originated on a different island. You go there - bang - there is your killer. Ask a few questions, he confesses. Hip-Hip-Hurray - Cue the credits. Thank you for nothing...

Not my type of game.

I've been into FPS games for some time now. I find this game to be quite boring. Way too much blah, blah, blah and too much time spent hunting down innoculous items.

Glorious Videogame!

Praised be Marx, this glorious videogame let's you play roleplay as communist worker hero cop. Unfortunately, it also has some flaws, like letting you roleplay as free-market fundamentalist cop, fascist pig cop, or moderate class-traitor cop. Not a game for souls that don't like videogames that make you reflect on society and philosophy.

ideological steamrolling

Ideological steamrolling masquerading as storytelling. It's a good game if you're already enmeshed in the zeitgeist. It would be a 3/5 if it didn't violate my intellectual integrity and push its ideologically charged worldview onto the player. Some might call it "woke", and it carries that subtle tone. Because of the cultural attitudes it promotes, my home country is being torn apart from within at the street-level. Thus, this game effectively promotes disharmony and strife over understanding.

Great game

It's a great game and it angers the american right who are always silly and the whining about this video game just proves it again, another point just for that. If the devs were "commies why would they "sell a product?" stupid stupid stupid and these are the people running the US, no wonder lol;) 9/10
