a good game, can be better
+ Nice and stylish visuals + Good sound design and music + Interesting setting with a nostalgic vibe - The writing is hit and miss, lot of telling instead of showing. - Different attributes do unlock differe dialogues, but many choices don't matter. - Severe bugs in the main quest that can prevent progressing even in the Final Cut version

Interesting but flawed
It's an interesting concept but, after finishing it a first time, i think it falls short : - it's really too short, the map is tiny - It's pretty guided and straight forward ... sometime boring with very long textual giberish - It's graphically poor ... borderline ugly - weak and annoying gameplay : it's slow even when runnning and messy - The roleplaying part is in the end useless (you just don't have enough time to really develop your character in such a short story ... adding points to categories have a very marginal effect on anything ... it doesn't really change anything in the game) - the dice mechanic can be frustrating and kind of unfair - the main character, you, is hard to like imho - the co-main character is also hard to like - the side caharacters are hard to like - They're all bold caricatures of their archetypes In the end i understand it needs to be played several times to explore variations, but i feel it's definitely overated : yes it's different and worth playing, the psychological aspects are good, but the storytelling is really not that great, it's not really challenging, it's pretending to be intellectual when really it's full of political and sociological clichés ... it's pretty much just an old school textual police adventure with limited depth ... so 75/100 is more than well paide.

All time classic
I play a lot of games, but I don't review a lot. This one deserves it. It's one of my favorite games of the last 10 years, maybe of all time. The writing is excellent, I lost track of the number of times I laughed out loud. The gameplay is great, there are lots of different styles you can play, and I was still finding lots of content I had never seen before on my third playthrough (Contact Mike cracked me up). The art and music fit very nicely. The world they've created here is bleak and depressing and foreign, but ultimately the themes should be recognizable to any human. I'd love to revisit in a sequel.

Great Game
I own it on steam, highly recommend it. At first I wasn't sure, had about 5 restarts before really getting into it (I died...a lot).Art is great, humor is top notch, the noir is thick but punctuated with comedy. I really like the writing, I really like the setting, I really like the characters, the voice acting...other than the controls sometimes feeling a tiny bit off there isn't anything about it that I didn't like. This game is all about the story, it has ups and down, lots of character development, the character leveling system is unique and how you level your character will determine dialogue and interaction options. And I'd say it's one of the very few games that took the time to find GREAT voice actors and to have them deliver the lines in a really spot on kind of way. I usually cannot stand video game voice acting but this game hit the nail on the head.

One of the best rpgs ever in existence
This rpg has the best plot, and I'd love to see a movie based on this story, however making it happen would be impossible. It has politics in it, but it's not overly preachy, it's a different type of beast. The gameplay is fun, there's a lot of comedy mixed with seriousness, and there's also you the protagonist. The art is breathtaking, and I dare you to say otherwise. Absolutely amazing piece of gaming ART. Easily a 10 out of 5 in my book. There's not enough points to rate this gem.
