Diluvion: Resubmerged

Works on Mac but the graphics are a bit distorted, like everything is zoomed in. Also had two mouse coursors on the screen (OS and in game). Gave up.

This game brings the concept of real adventure into play. Simple mechanics but highly addictive. Strongly reccomended.

Spent 10 minutes crashing around the rocks and uninstalled.

The Devs. Atleast on steam forums is very much listening to its players. Sadly it doesnt seem like they are looking much here. I like the controls alot and it feels really nice. Exept the camera. But its bieng worked on today. Improvements are comming and all in all. Good story and interesting world. Im not good with explaining all Pro's and Cons. But i really recommend this game. Just give it time when you try it and learn how it works. <3

This is my fourth game with origins on Kickstarter. I haven't learned the lesson until now, but I hope that this game finally did it. I've spent 4 hours in this game and concluded that it's not worth it. The other reviewers mention 2D/3D combination of graphics, which really does work well. 3D is used in travelling mode, while you sail (?) your submarine through the world. One needs some time to get used to controlling the submarine, but it's not bad and it is to be expected from an underwater simulation. Unfortunately, the world and graphics by themselves are very bad - very low level of details and content, which the authors tried to mask by including all kind of unnecessary and unrealistic objects (I could swear that I saw a swarm of letters?!) that float around. Add to that the absolute inability to navigate and orient yourselves and you might start to understand my disappointment. The lack of the mark of submarine's position on the map can be taken as a positive challenge - the one would need to rely on his navigational capabilities. However, navigating around is hopeless - the map not only doesn't show your position, but it lacks any detail that should help with navigation and looks more like an expressionist's painting then some navigational document. Of course, if you stray too much you'll be blown to pieces by a much stronger pirate submarine. Then comes the 2D part that is activated when you manage your submarine or explore one of the numerous locations. I don't mind the 2D part and it even looks nice and works well on your own submarine. But when you get to different locations (underwater bases, excavation sites, mines, etc.) it looks like something a child in the "make your own game" workshop would create. In about a week. And talking about infantility, the are green and gold fish that "help" you in 3D mode. To finish on this dark note, Aquanox is a far better game than Diluvion for wannabe underwater adventurers.
