Devil's Hunt

You heeard right: the controls are awful, the gameplay feedback is horrendous, as well as the fighting. The game just doesn't even know what to do, if beeing a fighting game, a story driven one (a very awfull one), or a quick time event game. Don't buy it, please!

I wish I could say this was a good game, but it was not. Frankly this is a terrible pile of jank trying poorly to clone a much better game along side a lackluster clone of a much better story. I can not recommend this game and while it wasn't so bad to drive me away from finishing it, there is just nothing here to be worth your time.

This is seriously the worst game I ever played, and I played a lot of bad games throughout my life. Its inconsistent, buggy, janky and it just sucks overall. The whole thing feels like ,,on a rail" game. You can only peform certain action on a very specific spot. You can only jump down from THIS particular spot. Cant absolutely deviate from the ,,rail path" (in an arena room) noooo that would take time to code. When I could not jump into a pool from one side, cause ability to jump down was coded only from the other side, I knew then and then I want a refund. When I had no other option than to kill my friend who betrayed me in a scene that could have been just a cutscene, even tho the scene is set up like there is an option, I knew there and there this is the worst thing I ever played. Dont waste money in this. The state of this game for any price is a scam.

love the fighting style and the art. Okay with the story so far. Mifed about no combos, lack of freedom of movment out of combat, no combat without a enemy and lack of evorment interaction in general. Hate the mc's lack of charater, spine and the choosen one ego stroking dialogue.

I didn't get far into the game. It's like a bad version of Devil May Cry with some moving through environments (stricly with action promps for climbing etc. very slow mushy feeling). The controls are very unresponsive and the character in general feels stiff and the actions feel stiff. The graphics are ok but for some reason even on my quite powerful rig I get frequent FPS drops. Voice acting for the main character is serviceable but nothing to write home about. There is no weight behind any action you make, your attacks never feel powerful or impactful, movement doesn't feel good. Overall, not a great game as far as I can tell. I will still not refund, because I am assuming this is like an early attempt at a game from the Dev, and he can have my $$ to maybe experiment further and make something better in the future.
