Devil May Cry HD Collection & 4SE Bundle

I'm thrilled GOG finally has this collection of DMC games. I haven't played this franchise in years. Fantastic gameplay! Highly recommend!

The HD collection has a variety of missing effects. Depth of field is gone, transparency textures on Dante's hair is gone, and so much more are gone or replaced with something that is badly HD upscaled. You can forget about style switching without using a menu in DMC 3; that is still a Nintendo Switch exclusive feature unfortunately (Bloody Palace Co-op is also still a Switch exclusive). PC is still the definitive place to play DMC 4 SE. It took GOG more than 4 years to have the missing hauntings be restored in the PC version of Silent Hill 4: The Room. More than 4 years to have the true SH 4 experience. With a lot of community support and support from Capcom, hopefully, the true experiences of DMC 1-3 will be preserved.

Couldn't ask for a better series to finally come to GOG.

I am thrilled to see these games on GOG, I never expected to see them here (at least not for a long time) but am glad they are. The only thing I will say is dont play devil may cry 4 SE at your monitors native resolution. If you have a 4k monitor (3840x2160) or 1080p monitor (1920x1080) then just set it to a slightly lower resolution (or any resolution that is lower than your monitors native resolution) otherwise the game wont start (This is for Devil May Cry 4 SE only).

I played this game as part of my first foray into PS2 console, at first it was intimadating on how to react on fast action gameplay then later as I finish the first DMC, it grew up on me and became a solid fan till this day. Thanks to GOG for adding this collection to be preserved, good times, good memories to come all the way to remember my teenage days. HELP: As I was trying to use my PS4 and PS5 controllers for this port. I hope the devs can manage to update or make a patch fix for the controller/s. Tried using 3rd party apps, connecting via usb and fixes, nothing worked. Thanks GOG devs for this another preserved game. Truely appreciated.
