Stutering on Nvidia graphics cards

This game is totally awesome, I'm replaying it for the third time right now and it's one of the best experiences I've ever had with a game and a worthy sequel to the original! HOWEVER. There is one thing that is so annoying that it can turn you away from this otherwise excellent game, and that are the horrible stutters that are happening almost constantly - especially in the city hubs. I've tried every fix that I've been able to find over my multiple playthroughs, but most of them made the issue worse, or much much worse. The best result I was able to get before was like one hard stutter/frame skip per 10 - 15 seconds. BUT, yesterday I've finally found something that made these stutters much less frequent and much less noticable. It may not solve your problem (I guess it depends on the particular configuration that you have), but it still might be worth a try. The only thing I did was that I've >>removed<< any previous changes in the global setting of the Nvidia control panel and than changed the following: Anisotropic filtering - application controlled Background application max frame rate - 30 Low latency mode - ON Max frame rate - 60 Power management mode - High performance Shader Cache - 512 MB Anisotropic sample optimisation - ON Trilinear optimization - ON Triple Buffering - OFF Vsync - ON Virtual reality pre-rendered frames - 1 It may be just my PC, however when I've done these things, the stutters nearly dissapeared. This was the only thing that helped with this for the 1,5 half years I was tryng to find anything that would solve this (not searching the whole time obviously). So I hope this might help you to enjoy this absolute gem of a game! :-)

Impressive

This is my first time to play this game. The experience of sneaking in is very good, the game rhythm is moderate, and there is no exciting point. The background feeling is located in the initial stage of cyberpunk, which reflects a lot of interesting content. The whole game download only flashed back once, and the experience is good. If you haven't played this game, it is recommended to experience it at the discount, which is worth the money.

A gaming revolution *Fixes Necessary*

One of gaming's best ARPGs but it doesnt run well on modern hardware on top of it's issues and bugs. You can and should disable telemetry as it no longer serves a purpose other than to constantly eat performance. you can do this with the "DXHR Exe Patcher" mod. It prevents sending data to Eidos and DoubleFusion when installed correctly along side other much needed changes such as ui scalling for higher resolutions. For extra stability I used a mix of Special K and DXVK. With these modifications I've seen less stuttering and crashes on Win 10. Not perfect but almost like a new game. Fresh out of the package.

Deus Ex HR Dir Cut

Hi, Deus X HR, is a FPS, real world city locations, complexes, offices, lifts, ladders, tunnels, people, tech gadgetry, complete missions, side quests, objective locator, choice of FOV 75-100. Weapons like pistol, combat rifle, shotgun, grenades, remote explosive, stun gun darts, tranquilliser darts. Upgrades for ammo capacity. Inventory system, health cyber food stuffs, hack doors computers safes. Augmentation upgradeable screen, pannable zoom map showing levels + objective locations + descriptions. Tinker options for graphic no stutter or buy high spec is necessary. Unfortunately plagued by non freedom criticals like damn crosshair, audio feed operatives no lip sync, no flashlight reduces realism, pickups having 2 bullets, clunky interface not a right click, I have 3 weapons in inventory but can only use 2 by wheel, lack of ammo, all in all not quite expected from this quality and title, but check out a mod fix. High resolutions available, norm reconfigurable keys like movements, jump, crouch, sprint, has toggle run, map, inventory, mission logs and some more. Excellent NPC's chatter, music, sound effects. Also supports gamepad. Allows audio sliders to be turned down to off ex: music. Excellent FPS, falls short of 100% by some non freedom criticals and too late augmentations.

It's pretty alright

Although it's better than Invisible War, it's worse than the original game. It's still simplified, no skills, only augs, your character is a jack-of-all-trades will all weapons and so on. The takedown system could have been better, takedowns cost 1 energy cell and they pause time, making takedowns pretty much trivial. Non-lethal is easier than lethal (for the record, it should be the other way around) making the "pacifist" run pretty much the same as a lethal run, except you aren't murdering people left and right. Unconscious NPCs are basically the same as dead ones unless someone finds them, to be fair, HR could have benefitted from being new and made it so knocked out people woke up after some time or after progressing the story, especially since even when you return to Detroit, people you knocked out are STILL unconscious. It's a good game on it's own, but it falls short when you compare it to the first game of the series.
