You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. Your job is to safeguard company secrets, but when a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes.

A fun game but shallow story
This game is quite possibly the most "fake deep" thing I've ever played. It wants so badly to be a profound take on the human experience, but really, it's just a fun RPG-lite-come-stealth-shooter experience with very little to say beyond "augmentation bad!?!?". Still a fun game and I do recommend it but I just wish I'd tempered my expectations a little more when it comes to the storyline and themes on offer here.
