One of the best FPS

I have been playing FPS since the late 90's and have (unfortunately) steered clear of the Deus Ex series, because I found it to be vague in story and touching upon subjects which I did not find interesting in my younger days. Coming late to the game, and still not having finished the two games released before this one, Deus Ex - Human Revolution is easy one of the best FPS made. I played it on the hardest difficulty when starting a new game. The game has a slow start, but everything is perfect. You start with limited weapons and ammo and have to work hard, in order to get the stuff you like. The boss are tough if playing with a controller and the first boss was the one I struggled the most with, simply because I didn't have the weapons to fight him properly. The story is excellent, the level design is huge and excellent. The levels can be a bit confusing in the beginning, but after you learn them, it works very well. Overall one of the best FPS and a game like they don't make them anymore.

Great Experience

Can't believe how I never got into this series in all these years, this game has it all: - Great and consistent sci-fi/cyberpunk setting and plot with some good and subtle social commentary; - Well written characters, both the protagonists and antagonists; - Superb level-design, many ways to approach each situation; - Tools for all tastes, either if you are lethal or non-lethal; I really like how Jensen's skills tie so well with the environment he's in, you can: - Upgrade your arm augmentations so you can carry heavier objects (maybe putting one over the other so you can open new paths) or punch through certain walls; - Upgrade your lungs augmentations so you can filter toxic air and go through hazardous paths unreachable otherwise; - Upgrade your social reading skill so you can determine someone's personality and respond according to that in order to convince her (I had a lot of trouble reading through Taggart, hate that guy in particular, hardest person to "read through" in the game which makes perfect sense since he is an extremely cunning and perceptive psychologist); - Upgrade your eyes so you can see through always AND not be affected by flashbang granades. And I could go on and on, needless to say, loved this game.

Played it on Steam re-bought it on here.

I really enjoyed playing through this game it was my first experience with the Deus Ex series. I feel like the reason this game looked so good when it came out was the graphics were pretty consistent. They weren't the highest resolution graphics in the world but everything fit because everything from trash on the streets to main character NPCs looked good. The story is great and it's just a really fun playthrough. If you are hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 these games might help fill the hole in your heart lol.

Cyberpunk 2077 is great

Don't know why people are saying this game is really buggy and crap but I love this game and I hardly found any glitches so far

I never asked for this...

Awesome game. Not perfect and with many flaws from a today's viewpoint, but still awesome.
