Deus Ex™ GOTY Edition

Warren Spector, the legend behind this game and other great games like Ultima Underworld, System Shock, Thief: Dark Project, and Wing Commander, had a dream! He believed that a game could immerse you in all of its detail and story, but still let you be the one who drives the story in a direction you want to go. In a sense, the freedom of this game might be what inspired the story-tree games of Bioware. Its graphics are an unfortunate thing of the past, and the voice acting is deplorable at times, but those are often forgotten by the mysterious and secret-filled world of Deus Ex. For those who want to experience the thrill of infiltrating strongholds in ways the game designers didn't plan out for you, or dig through the layers of story carefully woven around you to unveil the conspiracies, this is a game for you! There is an old saying "Everytime you mention Deus Ex, SOMEONE will reinstall it." This is because it is a rich and timeless experience that is always surprising players, even when they have played it a dozen times before. Everyone should play it, but those who haven't shouldn't be ashamed, but rather excited that they can experience for the first time!

Deus Ex is intelligent. It creates a world like ours but also different, weaving together all kind of conspiracy stories and sci fi ideas. You always have multiple ways to accomplish an objective, as well as each step along the way. If you like to find hidden things, this is your game. If you like to find nonviolent ways, this is your game. If you like to shoot it out and kill people, this is your game. Basically, this is your game, no matter who you are. I still love this game.

Just buy it If you have the chance. 10/10 game that will leave you with the thirst for more, and sadly you won't find another game like this. Lot of Action, awesome plot and characters and a world that feels very realistic. For me this is a great RPG If that's what you're looking for. I played it on Steam a thousand times it's very re-playable, you won't get tired of it. Having more than 100 hours in-game for a Single-player game it just feels that it was worth the money!!

The vanilla Deus Ex experience brings back memories of stilted dialogue and crawling thru vents. Give Me Deus Ex makes this experience extra DeusExy.

While I prefer the new game Human Revolution, this is a great piece of game history and well worth a lot of the praise heaped upon it. It's been a long while since I've played it but I can't recall finding many faults with it.
