you wish to absolutely crap a country? no problem, easy in this game. you want to create utopia? you can do it too! democracy 3, how to absolute destroy a country by leading it.

It's a short blast at something different. It is fun while it lasts, but after a few goes your pretty much done with it, not as hard as you would think. I would recommend only in a 60%+ Sale at the current £17.39.

This game freeses ALL the time in between turns. Most turns I have played before freezing is 4 ... Disabling the DLC does nothing. Disabling auto-save does nothing. Changing countries and political parties does nothing.

God ideas and an interesting approach. My problem was that i started my first game and succeeded directly. It is to easy to keep - Germany was my first try - nearly problem free and win every election. So the big problem is: no long term fun and that is a killer issue. I had about 10h of good play... and than it keep been more or less boring. A bit more of tropico 2 and it would be a nice game. A real pity.

It's hard to play as a libertarian, as nearly all libertarian policies result in your approval ratings falling until you are assassinated. However, it's more in depth than you would expect and has many aspects. Near life like experience in a way because no matter how you play, you won't be able to please everyone. Slightly biased to liberal political stances, but overall can be enjoyed by everyone.
