How could I have missed this
God, I'm happy to have stumbled upon this gem. A great little game that is unpretentiously exactly what it says it is and doesn't overstay its welcome. I've hadtons of fun. It‘s „simpicity“ is a boon! It doesn't bury you in heaps of (mostly) unnessecary systems but keeps it tight. And a better item is a better item. I'm really thankful for this, because I hate theorycrafting with a dozen items that have different effects and percentages. Armors have higher buffs, weapons make more damage, as god intended. You can really tell that your survivors are getting better. Amazing, what this little studio I've never heard of has pulled here: really nice graphics, good sound, subtle music, solid gameplay and all of that with virtually no bugs. I've encountered only a handful in my 75 h of play (I did everything and explored the whole map, you can beat the game much faster) and all of them were really minor things that were mostly taken care of by a switch of character. So, if you just want to take back soiled land from zombies and mutants, but in a more relaxed manner, this is the game for you! Now, here are some items I would like to relay to the developers, in case they make a sequel (PLEASE!): - sometimes survivors unequip weapons on their own - as far as I know, survivors don't automatically change to melee weapon, when out of ammo (although I'm not a 100% certain) - when playing as a teammember, very often you can't select other teammembers to heal or give items to - I would REALLY appreciate managing your survivors and buildings from a global menu. It's workable right now, but optimizing is a pain - maybe make training effects more clear, sometimes when enhancing a building survivors level up skills I didn't intend to - and it would be fun, if we had a few more possibilities for settlements, like creating fields for agriculture, building walls and fences for said fields or just to close an opening in the town perimeter, maybe livestock could be a nice addition
