Now, over twenty years later, Day of the Tentacle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn, high resolution artwork, with remastered audio, music and sound effects (which the original 90s marketing blurb described as ‘zany!’)
Players are able to switch back and forth between classic and remastered modes, and mix and match audio, graphics and user interface to their heart's desire. We’ve also included a concept art browser, and recorded a commentary track with the game’s original creators Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Larry Ahern, Peter Chan, Peter McConnell and Clint Bajakian.

I don't have a lot to say about this game except that it changed my life and was a companion during a very difficult time in my youth. It's funny, the characters are great and the story is fantastic. I promise you that it will bring a lot of joy into your life no matter your age. The game still holds up today because the jokes are timeless. Which is appropritate since the characters travel through time. Enjoy. Peace be with you.
Played this game as a kid and loved it. Now playing this remastered, better version just brings old feelings back and still love it. Actually quite surprised I beat this game when I was 8 or 9. I forgot most of what I have to do and it takes a lot of "thinking outside the box" to get through
Day of the tentacle is an point and click adventure i grew up with as a kid. The artstyle, the dialogue. Everything fit so good together back then.
Playing the remaster now gives us all the chance to experience it with a modernized interface.
Anything can happen, completely unpredictable but at the same time everything makes sense and most of puzzles are still not to hard to figure out nowadays.
The worst thing for me was multiple actions possible for each object. Keep in mind that "use" and "pick up" are not the only one actions and you will be good.
I took about 6 hints but still very proud of myself completing the game.
