Darkstone

I owned this game back when it came out. As a kid I really liked it, but later I noticed how bland it was. The story is cliche, the characters are standard fighter, mage, rogue, and the battle is just like most 3D RPGs. But if you're a fan of RPGs, give it a go. The puzzles are interesting and the game randomization is not that bad. The music is also nice from what I remember

This game has great music, solid co-op gameplay and random quests. The low poly graphics can discourage people from trying it but I'd still recommend it. Much like Diablo you have one village from which you venture into the forest sections which contain quests and dungeons. You go through all those to beef up for the final villain. The drops are random and it pays to look for better stuff.

Based on the reviews I thought this might be a fun game to play, but unfortunately there were horrible graphic glitches on my modern system. Windows 7, ATI driver 14.6, Radeon 7900. Hope an update fixes these issues, until then it is unplayable.

I remember playing it on Playstation 1 and I played it for a countless of hours when I was kid (never beated the game tho) . It's an awesome classic. in that time, we had Diablo I and II, and Darkstone, but Darkstone was special and it's special to this day. No one does it better.
