Death is only the beginning...
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition thrusts you once again into an adventure across various realms of Creation as the titular horseman, Death, seeks to erase the crime that his brother War was framed for. The Game is a hack n slash adventure game with light RPG mechanics. The three tennents of the Darksiders series, exploration, puzzles and combat, are in full force this time around. Death is a very agile character, capable of dodging attacks effortlessly and is able to bring the hurt to foes from different realms. Playing as Death is a very satisfying experience that allows a very clear contrast with the juggernaut that is war. After playing the original Darksiders II on its original release, the Deathinitive edition improves upon it not only graphically, but provides you all the DLC, which in my personal opinion, completes what would otherwise feels like a rushed game. It also calibrated and rebalanced some aspects of the loot system that was introduced. Loot is dropped constantly and almost always you get something that is immediately useful. And not onky that, certain weapons, level up along Death allowing you keep your favorites around which is what I do. In summary, if you are a fan of the series, this game is a no brainer. And in regards to the bugs of this game, aside from some flickering rendering of the shadows, the game is nearly flawless, having played its campaign with no crash to report. And this game being on GOG, it only makes the Darksiders series even the more sweeter.

As good as expected
30 hours and I'm done, not excatly completed since by the end I was so fed up with the collectathon that I just went straight to the end line, the story was good, graphics are good, there's an issue with the game in which you cannot put shadows on max and have to turn on v-sync or it'll get stuck on a white screen, other than that the game worked flawlessly for me, for M+KB the controls are tight, the combat is fluid and there are lots of side activities to do, some more fun than others Overalll is a little heavy on the colllectathon for my liking, but it was great fun where it mattered

90s Goth Zelda
It's a Zelda game but you look like you just walked out of a comic book. 10/10 bought PS3 edition at launch.

No Button Prompts
Game plays better with a controller, practically necessary, but only black boxes show in place of button prompts, tried to contact gog for a refund, they did not refund me and I was told that Nordic is aware of the issue, however forums show post as far back as January 2016 saying this is a problem and Nordic has done nothing . Steam version does not have this problem which means there is a patch that fixes it. Gog is of no support and just directed me to contact Nordic. They haven't released a patch since late November which is the patch that started the problem. That's 7 months without support and I am expected to believe that they will suddenly tend to the problem. I played the original version on 360, its a good game but avoid this version until they fix it. If they ever do, or buy it on Steam.
