Dark Reign + Expansion

This is one of my favourite games from two decades ago. Strategy and resource based game with lots of stages, two sides to play and plenty of individual settings to hone your skills.

still fun to play they need to remake it would be better than starcraft if the gameplay was better

One of the best tactical games of it's time.

I played this back when it came out and the game for the most part is pretty solid and much in the same fashion as C and C or Dune. I have win 10 and the only issues I have are 1, when I launch the game it acts like it does but then don't but if you hit alt + tab it will bring up the screen even though it's not in the taskbar. 2, the colors on the menus don't seem right which I think is due to screen resolution/graphics compatibility but in game graphics are fine. Over all well worth the price especially if you happen to pick it up on sale.

I remember playing this game and it deserved more attention than it got. It measures up with C&C and Red Alert, even Starcraft a bit. Setting it in a Sci Fi future with powerful units in your arsenal with futuristic abilities. Compared to other classic games here on GoG I wont give it 5 stars, but thats only because some games are just above and beyond usual rating systems. This is still a solid game worth trying, and when it comes to RTS games, this is probably one of the best on this site. Especially when it comes to Sci Fi RTS games.
