  • Reign on the Battlefied – Run your war from the traditional RTS view or zoom into the heat of battle using multiple camera perspectives. While down in the trenches, experience the direct effects of your decisions – if a platoon eats it, you’ll be there to count the bodies.
  • 20 Challenging Missions – Battle as the elite JDA or as the revolutionary Sprawlers in 20 challenging single-player missions.
  • Terrain and Environment – Adjust your strategy to take full advantage of the terrain and environment in day and night missions. Go to war on land, at sea and in the air. Hold off enemies by controlling vital choke-points and staging abushes.

No CD issue still remains for DR series

Oops. I tried to play DR1 and DR2, and both games requires me to CD or CD keys. I found few people in the same situation, so I guess these are rare phenomena. I found a related thread on GOG forum, but it's not solved yet for now. Please beware of the CD issues if you plan to buy DR series!

Solid Game But Issues on Windows 10

It's a good but simple game, what do you want for the time? My big issue is that the games soundtrack (one of the best parts) doesn't play on windows 10.

Windows 10 Blackscreen Issue

At first, when I opened the game, it says about my directX is outdated. Then I look for solutions online(3rd part) and found some fixes, but then again it didn't work out for me either. Some fixes it did my game launched though, but it is all black screen with the background music playing. The game detail says "it works on windows 10" but beware! Dark Reign 1 is better than this game anyway. You can play four factions in Dark Reign 1 while you can only play two factions in this game, which is some disapointment.
