Dangerous Dave Pack

If you like these old platformers, you might want to pick this up for the first two games but I wouldn't waste time on the last two successors. The Deserted Pirate's Hangout is short and simple, challenging but fair (except invisible fall-through blocks in final levels). I would say I liked it the most out of these games. Haunted Mansion is also pretty good though significantly harder thanks to certain difficult to deal with enemies and some cheap deaths (spiders over stairs, knives from off screen). At least lives are plentiful. Risky Rescue is, on the other hand, bad. In my opinion it looks worse and plays worse then the previous game. You can die by falling from too high, you can barely take out dogs even if you know they are there, the levels are hard to follow and score means nothing since it doesn't reset between deaths while levels do. Dave Goez Nutz! is even worse in every aspect. Rated separatly I would give them 4/5, 3/5, 1/5, 1/5.

Its very Funny and jump Scary game Specially the first game Dangerous Dave in the Haunted Mansion, its very Hard but I love the Challenging platformers.

This bundle includes all the dangerous Dave games, what are you waiting for? Shooting still feels like so much fun! A true classic DOS game.

I already own these ..another way so did not buy here but do play them still. 1 and 2 are pretty good 3 feels very unfinished now that I can use a gamepad on Dosbox I will go back and die a 100 more ways!!

While these games have aged significantly, there is still a tight platforming and shooting action for quite some challenge and a signature aesthetic to admire. Haunted Mansion is a peak game in this series. Main appeal of this package is, of course, a nostalgia factor, however, these games were stepping stones for future classics like Doom and Quake, and you can certainly feel it when playing. It's great to see these games preserved and available. Props to John Romero and everyone involved :)
