D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die - Season One

I'm a sucker for story-driven entertainment with great plot, whether it comes in the form of a movie, series, games, books, etc. In the past have had a tendency of liking the Japanese weird. I heard a lot of good about this game. So I got excited and bought it. Unfortunately it could not meet my expectations. The story and characters are interesting but the presentation is not good. Also the pacing in the story is fairly bad. The gameplay mechanics are everything between tedious to ok. If well get a season 2, I'm interested to see the reviews and if they are still liking D4, I'll end up buying the second season too but I am no longer expecting anything special.

Unfinished episodic adventure. Don't buy. You're going to miss 2/3 of the game. Just google it.

Adventure / point-and-click story-driven games should not have Quick Time Events, especially on PC. I can understand console fighting or swordplay games using QTE in the form of combo moves which result in a huge variety of different attacks, blocks, counterattacks, etc.. But there is no excuse for QTE in a story-driven adventure game for PC. So be warned. This title is a QTE galore. To me any game that relies almost entirely on QTE is a zero-star game. This is a horrible mechanic which should be banned. If you are in this for the story, just watch a playthrough on YouTube and save yourself the QTE headache, heartache and frustration.

Spend a good 1 hour learning about airplanes and answering pop quizes. 10/10 can't wait to learn more about airplanes.
