Two warnings

You cannot look very far, way below what you are used to. The enemies attack you from the dark view distance fog before you can see them. You cannot invert the mouse. Apart from that the game is fine, but those two points give me motion sickness and I had to give up.

Something else

Among all the great classics, this game deserves its own attention. Maybe the controls are a bit awkward by the standards of the time, but once you get used to it, this defect seems like a feature of the game.
