Fantastic Overall

Overall fantastic addition to the base game. This is one of the few (if not the only) DLCs that I have ever paid full price for, and I do not regret it. I just had the DLC credits roll, so I do not yet know if there is any impact on the ending of the main storyline. I'll do my best to avoid spoilers. Mr. Hands slots in perfectly as another fixer, and the gigs he "hand"s out are great. They feel more like side missions than the base game gigs do, and there is more nuance in the choices you are offered. These choices do not seem to impact the game as a whole, but provide some wonderful flavor. There isn't a truly right or wrong option on any of these; which is refreshing when compared to the base game side content. The side content of the main game, while I still do enjoy very much, did not have morally gray areas present in Phantom Liberty. The next thing that stuck out to me was the new AutoFixer missions. These are enjoyable, if repetitive, and seem to go on endlessly. It's nice to have something still left to do after you've cleared the map while waiting for main/side mission timers. I'd rather be doing missions or exploring the city than just skipping through time. I have only played through one of the available paths, but I found its resolution very satisfying. Without going into spoiler detail, I can't really say much more. The twists and turns were predictable, however. The one thing that really jarred me was the premise of this mission and some of the voice lines coming from V and Reed. No matter which background, V is a merc in NC; why would he care anything about loyalty (or treason) to the NUSA beyond its use as a potential resource for a cure? Some of the comments made by the cast, V included, just didn't make much sense to me in that context. Aside from that and a few crashes, I thoroughly enjoyed this expansion on the base game, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Phantom Liberty affects the ending of the base game.

Absolutely top tier

I only ever played it very recently, so I have no bitter taste in my mouth from the poor launch. I loved every second of this game. The side jobs and gigs were all fun and interesting. The music, dialogue, voice acting, combat, clothes, and vehicle designs all perfectly capture the Cyberpunk aesthetic and the vibe of the original tabletop RPG. Every inch of Night City was designed thoughtfully, and it's fun to just explore. No spoiler, but there was one part in particular that made my love for the game skyrocket. I had no idea it was coming, and it blew me away. Haven't been able to play anything else for weeks.

Good DLC

A good story and hard choices as usual from CD Projekt, but there seem to be more bugs than in the latest base game. Whould enjoy more DLCs in this game, thought for this DLC, the prices should be 25€ without discount.

Enjoyed it a lot

There are no happy endings in Night city. Expanses upon the main game and manages to offer truly memorable missions and characters. Expected nothing less fron CDPR. Looking forward now.

Missable rewards and other crimes

Oh what a comeback, a whole new game after 2.3, but this expansion angered me for multiple reasons, all the good was ruined so quickly by a series of terrible decisions seemingly made to annoy the player. I think the following people should be fired and never work in the game industry again: - Whoever designed "Somewhat Damaged". We paid to play Cyberpunk, not a terrible, extremely tedious copy of Alien Isolation with none of the normal gameplay or anything that you built and obtained for so many hours before, not some stupid invincible monster with cheap jump scares, 1 hit random unavoidable deaths while being stuck with more tedious computer puzzles and badly programmed teleportation. Why the hell would you be suddenly defenseless against this little bot after having fought a giant mech??? - Whoever put the unique items in perfectly missable places during the worst mission and on different story paths, instead of having them as cool endgame secret unlockables. Seriously, why? Who gets off on players missing things forever with no way to return to some dumb location? - Whoever wrote the sad ending. So much cheap drama could be avoided by talking to your friends and your love, by not trusting Reed and Langley, by not going alone and bring any kind of help from friends, from fixers, anything. Also after a 2 year disappearance normal people don't react like the psychos in the game "oh it was so long, I was sad, now I'm happy sorry you're screwed, bye". But not this ending, this is written on purpose to be negative and make the player feel bad for dumb reasons. The Songbird path is also terrible, she betrays everyone, she deserves to be betrayed, why would she have a happy ending on the moon but not V? There a secret society on the moon made of manipulative crap women that get everyone around them killed? So Mi can burn in the same dumpster fire as Lucy. Some people in CDPR clearly have issues while the rest of the team makes great games.
