Awesome expansion, mostly

It's an excellent expansion but there are some choices in design that I wouldn't have done. Way too much reliance on quick time events and scripted deaths to give a sense of danger (which is jarring since V can very well turn right around and be a war god once the scripted stuff ends). Having said that: loved the writing, the acting is top notch, the new area and variation on gigs are really fun. If you have Cyberpunk already, this should be a no-brainer. If you don't, I'd still highly recommend it. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

Controversial, but good.

It's difficult to talk about this DLC, being a fan of the game. On the one hand, it is an exemplary DLC, an example for other studios, definitely. A new large piece of the map, several memorable additional quests now with an even greater illusion of choice, several cool staged scenes, a new ending. On the other hand, this is not the kind of DLC, I was expecting, there was so much that could be told, but they chose something unclear, about someone unknown. The main story is boring, the new ending is not written in the best way and generally does not fit well into the overall story because it destroys its drama, while trying to compensate with accents in the ending itself, which looks strange. No cool new characters were revealed, there are very few intersections with the main game, the optimization of a new piece of the map is simply terrible, I didn’t have this even at release, constant freezes for 5 seconds, permanent lack of textures. I also think that the price is too high - the ceiling is $20, and you should take it at a discount for $10-15. I don’t understand why they chose such a story for the addition and why it was implemented the way it was implemented. I'll still give it a 4 for complexity.

It's better than the main game

I think this DLC is a better story than the main game of cyberpunk. It’s just that I think you need to have experienced the main game first, before you play this game. What I mean is, the characters will mean more to you when you have experienced the base games storyline. The Good The story was really good. It was nice to hangout with Johnny more. Dogtown had some great set pieces and a nice new cast of characters. The graphics are really good. Though I think the model for the president wasn’t very good. When Reed and the president were talking side by side, you could tell the president wasn’t a real person. It’s just weird to see compared to very detailed Reed character. The game is forgiving. At every death during end game, there was an autosave for me to go back to, to use the panel. The end game was scary. It was definitely way better than alien isolation. There’s a new skill tree. It isn’t big but it’s still something. The Bad You never got to experience or see the cutscene that was in the trailer for the game, in the actual game. I also thought that this was going to be a game where we are the Reed character and we are not. Choom and preem were overused. V says it so much in this game it was like he was a different character. Almost every character you meet says it. It was so weird. Writers need to get the whip. There is a person who knocks at a door by the bar that Alex works at. The knocking can be heard underground. I killed him but he respawns. So everytime when there was a quest objective there, I had to get rid of him. So dumb. Mr.hands was annoying. The scary mission was cheap cause right when you’d use the panel, it would come. Conclusion It sucks that cyberpunk is now finally over but I’m glad I got to play this DLC. It was a great detective sort of game.

Beautiful DLC

The base game is amazing, the DLC added even more to make it glorious. Be warned, when you enter Dog Town, you may notice a dip in frames per second, Dog Town and everything within is more graphically demanding than the base game, enough so that I have to use DLSS Quality or FSR Quality in Dog Town to keep FPS up near what I can get in the base game on a RTX 2080 Super running 2560x1440 resolution and high settings. If you already have a way more powerful machine, you have nothing to worry about.

Bad keybind preferences page! Pleas fix.

I played the original game for over 1000 hours and loved it. But since 2.0 I have not been able to play it yet because the keyboard mapping I need is not possible anymore. Please make it possible to map the same keys for different actions using tap AND hold and make ALL keys rebindable in the preferences. I am not willing to fiddle again for hours with non-selfexplaining and sometimes even misleading XML files to get my keybindings right. This should be possible inside the game for ALL keys. Why is it not possible to use the same key for "Reload" when tapping and "Holster Weapon" when holding the key? This works in other games as well. Why is it not possible to use the same key for "Crouch Hold", "Crouch Toggle" and "Evade" based on context? Please fix the PC keyboard mapping preference page. This is litterally the reason I have to deduct 4 Stars from an otherwise great game, because it is now no longer playable for me.
