Cyberpunk 2077

Now...this game is not perfect...no game is perfect, with that said. Cyberpunk 2077 is an excellent game! I give kudos for the Developers. I have about 30 hours into this game....and I barley can put it down. I love the world, the sights...the gameplay. It to me feels fresh, while others may totally disagree, thats OK they can disagree with me. I admit that I am a fan of the OG TableTop RPG...this is NOT that. Rather it is an excellent story in an amazing world where you can see the detail and beauty of the design that the developers and artists worked HUNDREDS of hours. It has graphical issues sometimes but its the world they built thats amazing. Now I know this game does not always run the best...especially on lower end hardware. But if you take the time to actually tweak the INI files and play around with what Netrunners technically do, you will find yourself having hours of fun. This game is for those who want a solid RPG...currently Playing a Netrunner...and its so freaking cool, flatlining enemies without ever getting near them. Its basically what I wanted in a game. I Have since went and read about promised features that are not in the game, but to me its not that big of a deal...at the end of the day, I can roam night city in first person and have the time of my life. I totally recommend this game. I am a Cloud Platform Engineer and I deal with companies that are truly the CORPOS of this day and age. CD Project Red is not one of them, they are a game studio who wants to make an amazing game. Bugs will be patched, issues will be fixed, don't worry about that. Really the only thing I want them to fix is rendering the head of our characters so the shadows represent what we see, and let me wear my hat in the mirror. Thats it! KUDOS DEVS! You made a game, I will spend hours in! So should you play this game? Most definelty YES! Guys its only 60 Bucks, its not like the MULTIMILLON Dollar deals I particpate in to get broken, need to be rebuilt software.

Very disappointed quality wise

First, I'm not a hardcore gamer and past couple of years hardly played anything, so don't really know the competition for Cyberpunk 2077. Game looks awesome for me personally, like the story a lot, lots of stuff to do, 20 hours in barely touched the main story, no performance issue on recommended settings. But what disappointed greatly was bugs and that's very saddening. Game is far from perfect with it's AI, animation glitches and overall bugs, that ruin gaming experience significantly, for example main story questline animation where Jacky is dying in a car and i'm watching this while his gun is in his head. In the end giving 4 stars because despite all the issues i really enjoy playing this game and believe CDPR will fix all the issues in time. But the trust i had in them is no more, it was my second pre-order and the last one

A great game despite its minor flaws

so is it the second coming of Christ in video game form no it is not It is however One of the best games of 2020 that is for certain because despite its bugs it truly is a next-generation experience the kind of thing that says yeah this is gaming in the future I have about 50 hours into this game and I still haven't beaten it I just been doing side quests and honestly they have more put into them effort and are more fun to play it then some main quests in other games don't worry it's not going to be a busy work simulator every side quest is fun in its own way despite themselves following a similar formula it's still fun regardless The graphics are breathtaking pun intended more often than not I stopped what I was doing and just looked around to taking how beautiful this game is you feel like night city is alive and breathing If nothing else night city is going to go down as one of the most iconic locations in all of video games the story is very intriguing like I said I haven't finished it so put an asterisk around my statemen but it's a story continues on the way it's going that it's shaping up to be one hell of a story the gameplay is especially good the gun still responsive and are fun to use melee is a bit janky but you can get used to it hacking is admittedly a bit simple but I can understand why they did it like that self is 100% viable and is fun to do and it's not game-breaking also you don't feel penalized for playing a specific way missions have multiple ways to finish them Although you are rewarded for finishing some missions stealthily In conclusion the game has problems specifically bugs and performance issues I am certain they will be ironed out by the devs in addition to the DLC that's most definitely coming our way I say that the dark future is pretty great

Beyond Expectations

I know this game was hyped, but actually loading in and getting to play it? Breathtaking, truly. I play on ultra settings at 30fps and it's an amazing world. The intricacies are so well thought out. I've spent 45 hours playing this game and am only 16% of the way through the plot because I love all the side quests. It's like 3 games in one: Stealth, Combat, and Cars. Truly worth the money and I'm so glad I could buy it on GoG to fund the developers directly. I know right now it's very popular to trash this game because of bugs or glitches, but I have never had this game crash on me and the bugs are mild at worst (seeing a floating cigarette when an NPC takes a drag). Maybe I just have a low threshold for what will bother me, but this hasn't ruined the experience at all. Definitely recommend.

The good concept was spoiled

The game is nothing as promised, there are bugs everywhere (some ridiculously funny actually) then comes the main story, its linear and short. Most gameplay aspects are coppied from different games but is done carelessly. Worth at most 1/4 of the price.
