Amazing if flawed game. (Played on Xbox)

This was and still is one of the best open world games I have played to date, with an amazing story, characters, and world. With open world games saturated with collectibles and time wastes "cough Gta 5 cough" it is really refreshing to not have them forced down my throat in an open world game. And yes there are bugs and glitches but I DON'T CARE the whole thing was an flawed masterpiece that people spat at because of the bad launch. And the music slaps :) Stay classy out there chooms.

2022 review

On GOG, this game is a 3/5 cause most people here bought it in 2020. Back in 2020, this game was a 3/5. However, after 2 years of fixes and updates, this game is where it should have been in 2020. A Solid 5/5 game that you should 100% play. The world, the story, gameplay, all so good and whatever isnt good, mods are there to pick up the slack (like driving). This game is worth it.

Excellent but imperfect

Initially, I was put off due to the disastrous launch 2 years ago. I was pleasantly surprised that I only encountered minor bugs and no performace issues at all. What makes this game great is the combat, theme and open world level design. The story is good, although the dialog options appear to have little impact overall and feels like you're being spoon fed. It's good, yes, but I agree with other reviewers, the story has too much dialog and cut scenes to the point it can be like watching a film. This really impacts the game's pacing, slowing everything down especially in the more duller parts. The game is very heavy on the sexualization, almost to absurdity which spoiled the experience for me a little. If you can accept those flaws and a few minor bugs then it should be worth your time.

You will hate it or you will love it.

When it came out and I saw in what shape it is, I was shocked and didn't care about the game. After some time Cyberpunk: edgerunners came out and I was sceptical about it because of the game but it was awesome anime. So I said to myself that I will try it out. They worked on the game and looked better than before. I finished game after a few days with all side quest completed and was very happy. Now I am doing another playthrough because of the update and new DLC and Its still fun even if I know quests and other things already. Everything I can do is write this review and hope other people will see this and try the game. I hope you will enjoy cyberpunk 2077 like I did. I would give it 5 stars but there are still a lot of bugs and driving in the game isn't the best. Its worth a try.
