Cyberpunk 2077

Just feel like i bought a farcry game with worse gunplay that takes place in a city.

I gave Cyberpunk a chance despite the bad reviews. I wanted to see it for myself. I played it for few days and it looked really great. I experienced few minor bugs but otherwise the game was amazing. But today I got stopped by game breaking bug that made it impossible to progress in game... after playing for ca 20 hours. Now I started googling and found out that there is no way around this bug and I'm screwed. Great.. have to start over again but I don't know if I even want to. It killed the game for me. Don't buy it now. Buy in January / February if they fix the game.

Having a "1440p Ultra preset" recommended GPU, 5700xt, and said resolution yields approx 30fps. 1080p LOW settings barely reaches 60FPs while 50ish is average, very ugly, unplayable stuttering and frame drops. Tried waiting for a few patches which even took community-fixes into account, but it's nowhere near playable despite thm, refunded after ~20-30 hours of trying to enjoy the game. Will wait for GOTY-patched version and check again.

Take away all the technical issues (which are still there btw) and you still have a shallow product. The game tries to do to much and does none of it better than other titles. The shooting, melee, stealth, hacking, driving, role-playing, and open world are all very basic for a game that spent so long in development. By no means is it a bad game, but it's simply decent. Customization is virtually meaningless. Lifepaths have little impact. Dialogue options are incredibly limited. The AI is just not there. Skill trees lack any character and there are no active skills to unlock. It's all passive. And there are still bugs and it runs like crap if you don't have an RTX 3000 card with DLSS on. I can't recommend this to anyone. Very disappointing.

Within my game time I have experienced a hefty amount of bugs, several soft locked save or out right corrupt save files. But even with that aside that functionality of the game is just lacking. Alot of great ideas that just didn't have the development time they needed or had to be cut. So many Story moments that had me ingrossed in the moment only to be pulled out by T-posing character models. Gun fights and exploration halted by random deaths from terrain. Driving cars and being shot onto the roof of a sky scraper. Its just not there. but maybe someday..
