Not enough content for the price.

Beat the main story in 5h36m. I liked the story until Johnny was introduced then the game felt like a chore. None of the choices matter, they just force you to pick the first option to continue anyway. It seems like the devs didn't play through the chat interactions to give the player the correct responses. Misty and Jackie are the only characters that we truly friends in the game. The others were either assholes to you or flat out stab you in the back on multiple occasions but you are always forced to respond as if they were your friend. For those unfriendly backstabbers that died, you don't get to do the deed. One even introduced a new character and they murdered them in front of you making me instantly hate the new NPC for taking that option from me. The graphics are great, controls are weird. Almost impossible to aim with a controller. Police interactions are so easy to get away from they might as well have not included them. There are a couple of bugs that ruined the emersion of the game but for me nothing that broke the game. There are a couple of missions you will have to put on easy as it is impossible to beat on anything else. No matter your skill, enemies pop in attacking you and killing you before you have control of your character. On easy, you'll have low health but can pass once you have control. Make sure you are never crouched when a cutscene starts or it can prevent you from reaching a mission checkpoint. Overall I think the game was just overhyped. And was much more frustrated by not having the options to say certain things in the chat interactions. Like I was playing a stupid gullible character and there was nothing I could do to change it. I will not be playing again as most missions were either really boring or such a chore.

Decent Game, but not what was Promised

If there hadn't been 8 years worth of hyped up interviews, gameplay trailers and presentations, I probably wouldn't be as disappointed with the game as I am now. Objectively when I look at the released version of 2077 I'm reminded of the releases of Fallout 3 or the first release of Skyrim. It's a buggy, glitchy mess, but it's still fun to play through. However compared to the amount of polish and the amazing, deep and intricate world we were promised, Cyberpunk starts to sag under the weight of everything it came up short in delivering. There's so many bugs, so, so many. To date the ones that are messing with me the most are constant audio cut outs when the game hiccups or loads into a new area. Ladders have a 50/50 shot of actually letting V reach the top, or just dropping him back down. There's many others, but then there's other issues, like how trying to follow the map when driving leads me to often miss turns because of how little warning you get before they pop up, and a host of other issues that make the game frustrating to play at times. Now there are good sides, some of the character dialogue and personalities really shine through. You can really feel like some people are living, breathing people in night city. There's a lot of really good writing that draws you into the game and makes it incredibly immersive. Then the bugs and glitches rear their ugly head and it drags you back out of the game. Again, if there hadn't been 8 years of hype towards the release, I'd probably give Cyberpunk a 3-4, a good game that needs a lot of improvements. Once I've finished this playthought I'll definitely be back, but not for another year or two, when I know that the game is actually polished and finished.

CDRP management are greedy liars!

TL;DR - DON'T BUY THIS SCAM! 1. Optimization is ass 2. LOD is ass (you would love disappearing 2d cars that never come anywhere) 3. AI is non-existent (They got $ 7 million from Polish government for this) 4. Driving physics are ass 5. Shooting mechanics is ass 6. Loot-a-maniac loads of crap for inventory micro management 7. RPG choices are almost non-existent 8. LIES LIES LIES about the "deep world" 9. Beautiful visual done by outsource companies. 10. E3 video was fake and they knew it while postponing releases and at the end released shit. CDRP CEOs and board you are a disgrace! You paid shit to your devs and were aiming for end year bonuses. Hope you get fired for a better management team

Yo, corporation! It's me, some lone dude

So you decided to blame us, the public, for your corporate decision to be part of a tyrannical governments social credit system? Quite fancy wordplay you had. It would be interesting to hear Mike Pondsmiths thoughts on something like this. I can almost hear his smooth voice going "Now why would they do this, after everything?" and then continue on to make a nice storyhook for a tabletop game. But to be serious now, Guys and gals working there. How do you see your company going next 50 years? After your execs decided to censor a game that made a joke about a head of tyrannical state? Do you think you will be able to proudly say you worked for the best gaming company ever? On your death beds, what will you regret? Thanks for all the experiences so far, but this is the crossroads where I will leave you.

I learned not to preorder, thanks CDPR!

The main story is great and engaging but everything else is a marketing stunt and a borefest
